WINE TOURS and TOURISM: VINOTRAVEL offers from TOULON or HYERES Wine & Tourist tours in French, English or German to the vineyards of the Côtes de Provence on the shores of the Mediterranean in a circuit of 7H30 in a small group of eight people and a guide. In this wine region wth an history of more than 2000 years of wine making, you will discover exceptional Estates and Castles. Pick up around 9:00 am at a meeting point (Cruise ship, Hotel, Tourist Office), transport by Minivan A / C 8 people to a Wine Estate in Toulon, Hyères or La Londe with tasting of the Côtes de Provence. During the morning, you will visit and taste local wines in a carefully selected cellar. You will first be introduced to the estate and its history then you will learn all about Provencal wine and taste the Rosé, Whites and Reds of the region. Enjoy 1H30 free for a Provencal lunch (not included). Your guide will suggest different local options.
La Londe Les Maures
After lunch, your tour guide will take you to discover the Côtes de Provence region with its beautiful wine route along the Mediterranean sea, Hyères and its medieval town, the village of Giens on the Giens peninsula opposite the Ile de Porquerolles or Bormes les Mimosas before returning to your place of departure.

We had an amazing day with our tour guide Frank. Frank picked us up in a lovely air conditioned van and toured us around the area, visiting to Wineries and a local restaurant. Frank was extremely knowledgeable about the area and about the wines produced there. He was very willing to accommodate our questions and sightseeing inquiries. We had a great day exploring.

My friend Eisa and I were on the Virgin cruise with a stop in Toulon, we picked VinoTours due to the description of the day-long tour and lunch. It was beyond our expectations. Frank picked us up on time at the port and took us to the Chateau La Castille winery/vineyard. There we were treated to a several hour tour of the vineyard, the cave, an explanation of the specialty wines that Provence produces followed by a great tasting! All of this was provided by their head winemaker, who spoke only French, so Frank translated excellently. It was interesting and fun as well. We then went to Carqueiranne, a small beautiful harbor town, for a lunch at a seafood restaurant, where Frank helped us to order and translate the menu. After the delicious lunch and a look at the scenery, we went to Domaine la Navicelle for a final wine tasting. A stunning estate with delicious, organic wines.
Throughout, Frank provided good information and was a lot of fun; we had a lot of laughs. He loves his job and company and it shows. HIGHLY recommend!
