Such an amazing experience seeing the penguins and the other animals at the Sanctuary. The landscape is stunning, definitely worth the trip. Craig was an amazing tour guide and driver. He was incredibly kind and helpful.

This was a wonderful experience! It was a very long day (2 hours each way on the coach) but between the sanctuary and the penguins it was well worth it. I do suggest grabbing a pie or snack where you can. Nobbies has a great pie if you get hungry.

It was a lovely day with a fun driver. The only downside is the amount of time we were on the bus. While we did see a few Koalas at Moonlit, don't go in thinking this is a "Koala experience" They were there, sleeping as usual for Koalas, but no interaction, really. That said, I would do it again, although I might hire a car to minimize the time (11 hours) Also, Viator messaged us several times (including our voucher for the bus) saying pick-up time was 10:00. We found later, they had sent an email with very small, and difficult to read print, that PU time was actually 10:50. Wasted nearly an hour of our time. That, and my seat mate were the only negatives.

This was an excellent tour!!!! There are not enough words to describe how beautiful it is… every where you look is like a postcard!!!! The tour guide had so much energy, full of knowledge, and made the day a great experience! He had no problem going the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time!!!!

Everything was amazing except that my pickup point didn’t got saved when I selected it, so we ended up having to rush to another place across the city to get picked up which was very stressful, BUT the driver waited for us even though we got 10 min late. Just double check that your pickup point is saved before going. Except that, all was good. The guide tough us some general stuff about Philips island, our surroundings and the animals while driving. Every time he dropped us off we agreed on a new pick up time and got to explore on our on - something I like personally. A great trip focused on animals:)

I was on this tour yesterday May 7, 2024. Many thanks to the guide for the good mood and for sticking to the schedule. The visit to the Moonlit Sanctuary and the Penguin Parade was unforgettable. After sunset you could see not only the little penguins but also the Milky Way in the cloudless sky. Special thanks from me for the penguin plus tickets, it was amazing to be close to these birds!

It was a great experience. It was little windy in the evening but worth going there. Seeing penguins reunion with family is amazing.

Great trip! Lots of stops with enough time to have a break and take photos. Highlights for me were the Moonlit sanctuary and, of course the penguins. (Wrap up warm, the wind was quite fierce on the beach) The driver John made it fun with lots of banter with the passengers especially with those from the UK! Overall well worth the money, I really enjoyed it!

A wonderful experience. Lovely weather. Cute animals at the Moonlit Sanctuary. They are very active which was nice as I seldom see an active koala in other zoo. The beach was nice, the Gelato there is a must try. Penguin Parade was a bit rush but wonderful, definitely recommend to have early dinner at the beach instead of finding food at the Penguin Parade, coz you won't have enough time for food as you need extra time to find a seat outside and wait for the penguins. Anyway they were super cute so you won't regret that. Don't forget to look up in the sky after you see enough penguins as the stars are stunning and there is a lot to look at. And our tour guide Josh was super friendly and helpful.
