Your Itinerary

Bath Abbey

Our meeting place for the tour as well as our first haunting of the evening.

Royal Mineral Water Hospital

A stunning location on the very edge of the old medieval city, here the guests will discover many haunts including one of the most bizarre in the city that has a connection with non other than the famous novelist Jane Austen.

Theatre Royal Bath

Here our ghost hunters learn of a hopelessly romantic and violent haunting that infests this stunning building. Another location for the visitors to volunteer and get involved directly.

Royal Victoria Park

Just a stone's throw, or perhaps a body's throw from the Famous Royal Crescent, this park is home to one of Bath's most impactful hauntings. It is the site where we conduct our paranormal experiments and one lucky guest (unlucky?) is called upon to be a link with the other side, with the dead!

Queen Square

Our last haunting of the night and the last opportunity to volunteer, even the children can get involved with this one, if they dare. It is also the location where we say goodnight to our guests and just a short stroll back to the meeting point.

The Roman Baths

(Pass by)

Directly across the courtyard from the Abbey, it is haunted of course, but it does not take an active part in the tour.

The best ghost walk we have ever been in! We were left feeling very satisfied with our host, and the content! I highly recommend

Part street theatre part Victorian ghost hunt, 'Jim the Reaper' took us on a journey to Bath's dark and paranormal past. Even before the tour had started the conventional Bath of affluence and Rugby shirts started to shape-shift into a more Dickensian macabre one. My partner recoiled when she thought I had initiated conversation with one of Bath's more colourful street residents, and for the next ten minutes we were unsure if we had indeed met our tour guide or attracted the attention of an top-hat wearing local eccentric. Over the next hour and forty-five minutes we learnt about the medieval witch-hunts, murder and mystery in Victorian high society and the celebrity status of local hangmen. The tour's grand-finale had us all questioning the evidence from our own smartphones and wondering what paranormal activities we could expect from our respective Airbnb Georgian accommodations! Undoubtedly, one of the best tours I've ever done. Would definitely recommend to sceptics and ghost hunters alike. Thanks Jim the Reaper for a very memorable and ghoulish experience!

Didn't expect a 2.15 hr tour worth the money. Dr Lynch gave an outstanding performance as story teller knowledge and horror history of Bath. Not to be missed ps didn't expect to experience the supernatural but we did especially at the end

Didn't know what to expect but what a great evening. Not 90 mins but 2 and half hours! Value for money or what. Once it got dark it became very atmospheric, our guide The Dr was dressed accordingly, top hat black froak coat and dark glasses adding to the theatre. He was energetic, funny and very informative,we learned a lot. We were only a small party approx 15 of us,we all bonded as the tour went on especially as there was audience participation,ha ha. Thoroughly recommend it.

This was a fantastic tour through the city of Bath with Ms. Strychnine, who led us with both wit and humor on a fun, rainy night. A great way to see Bath, especially if you have some downtime in the evening.

Jim was great - a good storyteller and funny. The tour was nicely paced and there was a lot of history included.

What a fun, educational and scary night in Bath. Mr. Skinner was a lovey host whi had time for all his ghost hunters. Compelling stories and I could listen to all night. Well paced tour with great audience participation. If you want to see the Dark side if Bath, this is a must.

This was a really fantastic tour - fun, spooky and informative! We loved learning more about Bath’s history and some of its grim stories. Our guide (Robert Ratler) was witty, entertaining and involved everyone in the group. The ‘crockery smashing’ at the old hospital was a highlight! I would thoroughly recommend this to any visitor to Bath.

Very informative and engaging. Guide knew his history and related it well to the group. Atmospheric sites at times very dark.
