As I work in the racing industry, my work colleagues were very jealous that I got a tour of Flemington racecourse. Driving round the Formula 1 GP track and visiting the MCG made my day. The only drawback was that the main courts at the Rod Laver arena were closed off due to the fact that the Australian Open had just finished the previous weekend.

As a Melburnian, the tour was very enjoyable to find out what Melbourne has to offer, as well as other sporting facilities along the route. Tamara was very pleasant, easy to talk with, and informative. The tour is a 'must do' for any sport enthusiast especially the MCG. I also played tennis in a show court to experience the moment. Had a very good day and also enjoyed the lunch! Chris M

My husband and I took this trip as we both enjoy one or two of the sports covered, we really enjoyed the whole day! We were a part of a group of 7 so a small bunch of like minded people although from different parts of the globe. Our tour guide Tamara was just fantastic she was very knowledgeable about all the venues we visited and the sports that took part there also about the local areas. We joined others for guided tours at the MCG and Rod Laver arena both were informative of the history of the venues etc . My personal favourite was the drive around Albert Park, being a F1 fan it made my trip special, especially as they were in process of setting up for the race! Loved it highly recommended it. Thank you Tamara.

I’m a total sports nut. I knew I wanted to do this tour in Melbourne. Despite knowing nothing about Australian rules football and cricket (I do love F1 though), I had super high hopes for this tour and it delivered. Anthony was an outstanding guide and answered all of my dumb questions. The tour of the MCG and the museum was fantastic. Melbourne is definitely a passionate sports city!

Apparently the AFL finals were going on the week I had booked. Normally, I'm ok with tour cancellation within reasonable notice... the issue was that I didn't receive this notice until less than 48 hours of when this tour was supposed to happen. I find it highly suspect that they didn't know the AFL games were going on until that a couple days before the event. Not being local it's unlikely a tourist to know such an event would be going on.

My wife and I booked this trip as we are both mad on sport. The trip was really informative and we enjoyed every aspect of the trip. We were the only people booked onto the trip, despite this they still ran the trip which we were delighted about. The tour guide was very easy going and knew all aspects of the trip. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to help us. It was extremely well organised and can’t complain at all about it. If you like sport, do this excursion!

I'm not a big sports fan but I really enjoyed it. Flemington was definitely my favourite part. Our tour guide, Tamara, was great and showed us the course from the horses perspective which was really cool. The lunch was good you won't be hungry afterwards, they definitely fill your plate.
