We started the ride with big bus tours from greenock harbor. The bus stood in front of the Main building. The bus was always on time. The time schedule is quite full but we liked it a lot because we wanted to see so much as possible. We drove with Lee and Lee made our day so perfect. The whole 9 hours he gave us background information with much of passion and know how. He lives children and was very kind and friendly. The stops are a pleasure and we are very thankful that we could join this tour. He speaks perfect English without accent - that helped all of us. Our parents don’t speak German, we have given them an in ear translator from Time kettle -> it was worth it. The time kettle understood every word and translated it almost simoultaniously to German and all of us had a really great time with him.

We were traveling on a cruise pulling into Greenock and wanted a break from navigating cities on our own. We decided to give this tour a try although I hesitated as there were no reviews (I’ve since found out there are a number of good reviews on viator but they haven’t posted here for some reason). Anyway I was soo glad we took the risk. Mike exceeded our expectations in every way. He messaged before arrival and was flexible on pick up time and excursions. We left it up to him and it was an amazing day. He was punctual, picked us up in a new van, had drinks and umbrellas. He took us to nice bathrooms along the way and a local store for snacks. We had two teen boys with us and Mike was patient and able to meet the needs of all ages. I can see his calm demeanor working well with many customers. He took us to so many sights in the countryside and then gave us a brief city tour of Glasgow at the end of a long day. Mike has lots of pride in his area and is knowledgeable on the history and sights. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and stopped for an ice cream treat. We had time for photos, walks and a little shopping. Book him!

I asked Mike to give me a tour of the area that would make me want to come back to Scotland. He definitely made good on my request and took us to everything possible in the 6 hours we had in port. We didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to explore and see the sites in the area. When I come back to the Glasgow area, I will definitely ask for Mike as a tour guide. It was well worth the money and time spent. I couldn’t be happier! He is highly recommended!

This drive was the highlight of our time in Scotland. The scenery was spectacular. Our guide, Mike, knew all the best places to show us because of his familiarity with the area. He also had lots of good stories.
