First time in Malaga and we wanted to do an informative tour that would also give us a taste of the area. This tour did not disappoint. Damian met us right on time and was friendly and relaxed from the start. As it turned out, only two of us were on the tour so there was a personal touch. We learned so much about the history of Malaga and saw very beautiful and important sites. Damian was very knowledgeable and is clearly passionate about sharing his home city with visitors. The food throughout the tour gave us a great taste of local cuisine and we even followed up with another visit to one of the recommended restaurants! Highly recommend this tour. Thanks to Damian.

Delicious food and wine! Very nice walking tour with our guide, Paco. I could feel his love of Málaga and learned a lot about the city.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Paco - very friendly and knowledgeable. So nice to be in a small group too

The no-lines access, historical highlights and great local tapas restaurants were fantastic … tour guide was great, very informative and personable!

Paco, our guide, was a master. Although we were lost on the way to the meeting spot, he graciously made adjustments with the group and we proceeded to have a great outing in Malaga. He is a native of the city, knowledgeable in European history, art and architecture, and obviously a senior, well-known professional guide. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially with the two restaurant tapas lunch.

The history part of the tour was great. The food part was disappointing. The sites were pretty amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history and had a passion for teaching. He did not seem very knowledgeable about the food and there was little to no explanation as to when and why different foods became part of this culture. The food itself was fine but no better than fine. It seems virtually certain that the restaurants were selected solely based on personal relationships and kickbacks alone. We understand that kickbacks are part of how tours operate but we've done numerous food tours throughout the world and all of the others seemed to have prioritized top quality food, history, and atmosphere.

Our guide, Isabel, was very knowledgeable. She shared great information about the history of the city and landmarks but what I loved most was her pointing out little things along our route. Doing the Walking tour and then sitting down for Tapas and drinks was ideal!!

Veronica was very informative about the sites we saw and also a great lady to chat and have fun with during our two stops for tapas after visiting the castle, Roman theater, and cathedral. Only 8 people on tour and well worth the money

There were only 6 of us, which was ideal. Damian was a superb guide and we learnt a lot about the area and the history as well as the areas of the Cathedral and Alcazabar we would otherwise have missed. The Tapas were also excellent and a great way to finish the tour. Highly recommended.

It turned out we were the only ones on this fabulous tour with Damien. He did a great job showing us the Alcazaba Fortress, Roman Theater, and Cathedral. Having him to ourselves made it very in-depth. The two bars we went to for tapas were great. We enjoyed the wine and varied food choices. This part may have been a little more fun with others. We were only in Malaga for 24 hours and we felt we really got a good feel for the culture and gastronomy thanks to Damien.
