My friend and I booked this tour, and we are deeply disappointed on how we were treated on the day, 30th April 2024. We received an email from Keith on the 29th April 2024, confirming the departure time and check-in time from 8.00am for 8.15am departure. We ensured that we arrived 7.50am at the pick-up spot, only we could not find parking, and had to keep driving around in circles. At 08.15am, my friend, Caterina, went and spoke to the tour guide to confirm that we were there but couldn't find parking and asked where we could park. He said that we had 1 minute to park anywhere, and when my friend asked about parking tickets, he rudely replied it wasn’t his problem and that we should’ve woken up earlier. He then agreed to meet us at the first stop, Urquhart Castle, so we could join the tour group from there. My friend and drove 30 minutes up to the Castle, still happy to figure our way back and miss the first part of the tour but we ended up waiting for nearly half an hour, however, nobody arrived from the Highland Explorer Tours. My friend who has flown all the way from South Africa for holiday, and we drove all the way from Hampshire, being first time visiting Scotland and this is how we were treated. There was no assistance or advice on where to park, we were on time and the tour guide, was abrupt and dismissive in how he spoke to us. As well as, agreeing to meet us at the Castle stop and yet nobody arrived. After paying so much money, I would expect to be spoken to politely and treated with friendliness, not the rude and dismissive manner in which we were spoken to. I would really appreciate some feedback about how this is going to be corrected.

Such a great tour! An absolutely lovely day with our Tour Captain, Sonia!!!! A true professional who makes everything fun and informative! She is an excellent representation of Scotland! We fit so much into one day - and had plenty of time at each stop to adequately take it all in. Would highly recommend!

A fantastic experience, didn’t feel rushed at any of the attractions and got to see so much in one day. The Loch Ness cruise was glorious but Culloden is unmissable, their visitor centre is great and it was a very emotional experience. Iain our tour guide was wonderful, 5* he was friendly, funny and knowledgable, really added to our experience and was interesting to hear about his ancestry and personal connection to Highland Clans. Tour bus was comfortable and travelling in a small group was nice. Would highly highly recommend this company and Iain especially :)

Just a grand day in Inverness, even though the weather was t the greatest! Sonia was just the best! Her personality, knowledge, driving ability are the best! She made me laugh several times. I loved the views from the boat in Loch Ness, the castle, the Highland Cows, the whiskey tasting, the Battle of Colladen Museum, and the Stones. It was a very informative, educational and very fun trip! Thank you!

Awesome! Sonia was funny and super kind! We had a great time going on the boat and see Loc Ness, super pretty. We loved being able to stop and see the highland cows. We tried to travel through the rocks, didn’t work for us.
