We could not go to Edinburgh and not visit the Highlands. This tour was a great way to do it. The guide was knowledgeable and we saw the main points of interest. I wish we would have made a bit more stops for pictures but a couple arrived 20 minutes late in the morning and it seemed we were trying to make up for the delay the whole day. It was a long tour but if you are not in Scotland for a long time and do not wish to drive that tour is the perfect way to go!

Worth every penny, we loved our trip to Loch Ness and our tour guide Ewan was amazing, lots of local knowledge, plenty of historical facts, he knew the best places to stop for photos We will definitely do another tour

Euan was a fantastic driver and guide! Route and weather exceeded all expectations. Directions and suggestions were above and beyond, no stress at any of the stops and just enough time to snap pictures or grab snacks at each stop with some wiggle room. Would recommend to anyone!

My mum and I were both very delighted and satisfied to have experienced so much of beautiful Scotland via this tour. Special mention to our guide Keith who was very attentive and caring, and was able to share loads of interesting facts about Scotland while also driving smoothly along sometimes twisty roads. I look forward to booking with heartofscotland again.

Excellent day - informative, passionate driver/tour guide who regaled us with tales of adventure, Scottish history, UK politics - all whilst navigating wet, wild and windy roads. Plenty of stops and photo opportunities - not a bad effort over 12 hours - even threw in a quick Best Bits of Edinburgh before the finish. Thanks Callum.

Out tour was on a dark and rainy day; nearly the shortest of the year, so we left and returned in the dark. We got a sense of the geology from the stops, but the best thing about the trip was the storytelling. we returned with an appreciation for the history and how the history is tied to land.

Pai and Chris were fantastic and amazing. We're definitely coming back because of their hospitality.

We saved a small bus tour of the highlands for our final excursion during our trip. Andy Hart, our driver and tour guide, picked us up promptly at 7:45am. The tour was everything that we hoped it would be and more. Andy’s running commentary was insightful, quick-witted and humorous. The real star of the trip was the highlands of Scotland. The glens were breathtaking and the colors of the countryside were memorable. What a way to cap off our vacation!

One of my favorite trips planned, but could have been better. The tour itself was fine, but with so few stops, and then being so short, it was hard to explore or shop to our desire. Food was a challenge at the rest stops, with few options to choose from. My wife was bored during our drives between the small stops. Andy was very knowledgeable about the trip, and covered a wide range of topics, from whiskey and history, to flora and fauna. His demeanor was enjoyably sarcastic, (I enjoyed it) but may not be for everyone. Loch Ness was the highlight, and the cruise was fun, but it would have been worth looking around the town for a little while longer, as we only had 10 minutes after the cruise to explore fort Augustus.
