Sadly our group of 5 waited 30 minutes after our tour time and no one from the tour group ever arrived. I called the tour company a couple times, left a voicemail, sent a message through Viator, and even Viator tried calling, but there was no response. Disappointing but we still got drunk and read the signs around bourbon street.

They cancelled the tour a few hours before it happened, causing us to have to scramble to book another tour with another company. It was the last day of our trip and the only option they gave us was to rebook for the next night.

After researching tours in New Orleans, I found the Viator tour to be the most cost appropriate for our group as well as sounded the most interesting. I booked about a month out, received confirmation and was charged the Tuesday before the tour on Thursday. We planned our first afternoon around having a tour at 7pm, so ate an early dinner and were at the meeting place 15 minutes before the tour started as stated in the directions. Waited until 7:05 and no one showed. Called the number on the confirmation and no answer- left a message. Called Viator and was asked repeatedly if we were standing in the correct location? The person from Viator said they would look into the refund and I would get an email in a couple of days. About 5 minutes later, received a message from the tour guide stating our reservation never went through and was asking if we could reschedule for the following day? Wish we could have but only having the weekend I explained we already had plans. Within less than 24 hours I got an email: Hi Jessica, Thank you for your patience. We regret to hear about the circumstances surrounding your refund request. Viator strives to make every attempt to address our customers' concerns. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer a refund. We apologize that you were not able to fulfill your travel plans, and hope that we may be of service to you in your future travels. Regards, Garry David Viator Customer Service So, I recalled the number and was told by a different representative that they would resubmit my request after explaining the same story and inquiring why I was getting denied when the tour wasn't given to me? I did reach back out to the tour guide who told me it would handled. I will say that it finally went through tonight (Monday). I will never book through Viator for any experience after dealing with the customer representatives. I was really looking forward to this and understand there was a screw up in the system, but I shouldn't have had to call twice, explain the same story with a booking number and not get a full refund immediately.

The bars omg they had the best drinks... The most memorable part of our trip to the big easy... Their motto about learning is intoxicating is very true we learned so much about the French quarter and it's many buildings monuments vars and the people all thou I may not have retained it all hahaha we had the fines of our lives

Coty was a FANTASTIC guide! He knew so much great information about every building I asked. Such a great way to spend the evening and see the French Quarter. Loved it!!

My friends and I really enjoyed this tour! Cody was a terrific guide. Personable and funny, not a snooze fest! I do wish it was a bit longer, to see more things and learn more History. Plus we only stopped at one bar for about 15 minutes (The time it took to get a Hurricane as it was packed, and to use bathroom.) So the term "Drunk" doesn't really apply! (The Hurricane was strong, but that was towards the end!) That being said, I am so glad that we went!

Coty was a really nice and welcoming tour guide. He was super knowledgeable about New Orleans, and was happy to answer any questions we had about the city. I do wish we had more historic locations during the tour, instead of celebrity homes. And, I was under the impression this was a bar crawl, but we only went to one bar. It was a really cool old bar, and we had fun! Those are my two suggestions, but honestly, overall, I really had a great time and a lot of fun on the tour!
