We did this trip this week and were very happy with the whole experience. Excellent, efficient check in procedure, quick comfortable ride to our snorkelling spot and the guys on board were fantastic. They had a wealth of interesting marine life knowledge with a humorous delivery. I highly recommend this trip if you want to avoid the long haul to the outer reef and have limited time. You will see a multitude of fish and coral. The recent deluge of rain from a cyclone has bleached the colours from the coral but in another year it will be back. Of course, nothing beats the outer reef.

This is a fun trip! If it’s windy it’s a 15 minute rollercoaster out to the Low Isles, but it’s calm once you get there. Water temp was 24 so doable without a wetsuit. On to snorkelling. The coral was a bit dull (still recovering from the cyclone), but we saw heaps of fish and clams. Others saw sea turtles munching on seagrass. One spotted a lion fish. The driver/guide was great! Back in 2.25 hours so we got to do some other things in the afternoon.

Matt and Mel were great hosts for the morning and full of useful information. The trip to the island was fun and the snorkelling was great - three turtles on the site! Plenty of decent sized fish to enjoy.

Awesome way to spend our morning! Definitely do it again! Staff were knowledgeable and we had plenty of time to snorkel and explore. Great if you don’t want to spend half your day getting out to reef and only short time to snorkel, this is the tour to do! Highly recommend

Fantastic way to experience snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. The ride out to the low isles was definitely bumpy and rough (which we were told and expected) but it’s only 15 mins and worth it. Instructions were very clear and instructor was super friendly. Overall, we loved the experience and recommend it.

A fabulous day - Skipper Steve was very informative and fun. Love the fast boat ride and snorkelling was great - so much coral, lovely fish and even a reef shark! It’s our second trip and we will be back again

Great day out, half day trip, snorkelling - not too long. The boat trip was exciting and fun, staff were excellent 👍 the weather was great and it really does make the whole experience better if it’s a sunny day ☀️ We had stinger suits on and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic Highly recommend- this company and mode of travel if you can as you get there really really quickly, our group was a mixture of all ages and it was such a great experience

We went on the reef sprinter lagoon trip on the Low isles during the school holidays around easter. We were given the stinger suits in the office at the harbour, and then went out on the boat. The boat ride is fun, but it is quite rough launching over the waves so keep that in mind if that's not your thing. The time went quite fast snorkelling, where you are more or less left to your own devices. It was a great morning out albeit quite expensive, but probably a good way to see some of the reef if you are short on time, but I can't help but feel there's more to see out there.

Family friendly snorkelling experience ! Lovely staff, boat was super speedy, all equipment provided was exceptional We took our 5 year old and 7 year old and they loved it (use a life jacket and pool noodle to keep them out there longer!)
