Highly recommend this tour, even if you live in Oxford! We had a friend visiting and decided to book a tour to show them around. Tony was a fantastic tour guide, and very knowledgeable. He tailored the tour to our group, providing local suggestions for must-do's in Oxford from restaurants to festivals, as well as historical and architectural knowledge. Having the tour in the evening meant the buildings were lit up, showing detail that wouldn't be as striking during the day. Excellent tour. A must do!

We had the most memorable experience in Oxford with Tony as our private tour guide. A few of us were running behind but he graciously waited and didn’t mind the late start. He took his time showing us around the various colleges and he’s such a wonderful storyteller. We learned so much in 4 hours and everyone was entertained by the rich history and the surrounding beauty and architecture. At the end of the tour, Tony recommended a lovely restaurant called The Red Lion where the food and drinks were fantastic. Thanks again Tony for a wonderful and memorable time!

Tony is fantastic! We had a wonderful tour and appreciated all the information, insight, and stories from a local’s perspective. Easy finding him and we learned so much about the city and Oxford University in the short time we had, which was so much better than wandering around aimlessly without knowing what things are. Highly recommend!

Tony is a fabulous guide with stories and detailed facts. Unfortunately we had significant rain during our tour but Tony continued on and we learned a lot. It was a great introduction to an interesting city. Highly recommend!

If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would. If you're on the fence: do it. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable about Oxford university and town: he was able to answer every question my partner and I had about the history of the area. We learned so much! I can't imagine visiting Oxford without starting with his tour. We were able to appreciate the area so much more than we would have otherwise. We can't wait to return to explore more of what he showed Us and we'll be recommending this tour to anyone headed to Oxford.
