If you are in Madrid then a visit to Segovia for a hot air balloon ride is a must. And that ride must be done with Aerodiffusion Pasesos en Globo only. Aerodiffusion not only arranges for a pickup and drop from/to your hotel doorstep but also ensures that you have a fabulous time during the entire duration of the activity - pre, ride, post. Special thanks to Manuel, our pilot and to Richie, our cab driver. Richie is like Hagrid :-) a gentle and funny giant. He dropped us back to a place of our choice in Madrid and also showed us the nearest metro station so that we aren’t inconvenienced while going back to our hotel. It was an amazing morning spent in the lap of nature and getting a bird’s eye view of Segovia !

My friends and I rode the balloon over Segovia. It is an amazing experience if you have not been up in a balloon before. It is quite and calm up there and the views are spectacular. Our pilot, Rafael and his assistant Oscar were just so friendly and they made the trip exciting. One thing to remember is that it is in Segovia and starts early I the morning, so if your base is in Madrid, allow time for travel.

We got a flight as a wedding gift and it was one of the best experiences of our wedding. Apart from feeling safe all the time, having an amazing time and wonderful views, the whole experience was enhanced by the friendliness of the pilot. I totally recommend this trip if you're near Segovia!

It's a very complete day in Segovia. You can start your visit with a wonderfull trip on the air. This is a pretty view of city. Of course "Paseos en Globo" are a very pleasant and profesional people. It's completely recommended.

My first trip on an air balloon and what an experience! We were particularly lucky, as the wind took us to an area without proper landing places and so we enjoyed quite a bit of extra trip. No worry, despite the detour, we did not finish even half of the fuel we had on board. Manuel was extremely kind, he took pictures all the time and I received them the day after in my email box. Our pilot was the son of the first air balloon pilot in Spain, a real legend in the field and owner of several world records. The whole crew shared a breakfast with us and answered all our questions about their activity.

My wife and I did the Aerodifusion hot air baloon flight outside of Madrid, not Segovia. The organisation and the experience would be the same though the views over Segovia may be more picturesque. As our whole trip to Egypt and Spain was to celebrate our anniversary, we chose the 2 person exclusive ride. It's expensive, but both of us being licensed fixed-wing pilots, we wanted the experience, not necessarily as tourists. After pickup from our hotel and a hour long drive, we met the pilot and helped assemble and inflate the baloon, quite an experience in itself! Once done, we got in and with a burst of flame to heat the air, we were off! And, what a ride! On a clear day, you can really see forever. We crossed homes, highways, but mostly countryside. We soared high (relatively) to 1000 feet, then came low enough to touch the branches. Really magical. There was a guy in a microloght who kept buzing us and that added to the fun.....aviators sharing the sky, The landing was a bit of a bump as winds had picked up, but we came away intact and then helped re pack the baloon. Meanwhile, the other pilot who was driving on that day had arrived with a very welcome celebratory breakfast of Spanish ham, bread, olives, and.....champagne! All in all, a teriffic experience and well worth the price and effort.
