Our family of 4 were very lucky to have been able to get Oz as our private guide and driver for a day trip out of London so close to Christmas Day. Oz was very professional yet friendly. His knowledge of the history of the places we visited kept us engaged during the drive and made it so much more meaningful when we visited the places to see for ourselves. Arrangements for the tour were easily done through whatsapp prior to the day. The tour was entirely at our own pace. Oz planned the itinerary well to make the most out of our day without us feeling rushed in any way. The vehicle was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was definitely a good break from all the walking we did when touring London by foot. Thank you Oz!

Our guide Oz. Was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the area. This added so much to our day trip. All stops were very good. We liked the small villages we drove through, the country side was very pretty. Avebury was very interesting.

There were 15 of us in two vans and we spent the day with Oz and Nick. They were both amazing guides, sharing interesting and unusual facts and stories on the drive and at our destinations. They were flexible (you kind of have to be when there are 15 friends traveling together!) and so much fun to be around. If I go back to London I would absolutely use them again for another tour!

OZ knew so much about British History, it was amazing to drive with him all day. The vans were clean and it all was run very efficiently. The small town we went to that had the Angel Pub was awesome and we felt like we were in a Harry Potter movie just walking around it. Avebury was better than Stonehenge as we could really touch the stones and walk around them, and it wasn't very crowded.

We spent a beautiful day in Bath at the museum, old town and abbey, a lovely lunch in the Cotswolds village of Lacock where we also spotted locations from Harry Potter movies, and then explored the giant stones of Avebury, where we learned about the history of the stones' excavations, Druid rituals and even tried out a pair of divining rods between two of the large entryway stones. We ran into lots of traffic back into London because of road work, and we were lucky enough to hear the history of British kings and queens from Charlemagne to the present by Professor Oz, who peppered the history with interesting stories and myths. Both Oz and Nick were amazing tour guides, and were extremely fun and patient with our group of fifteen. Oz planned the excursion, but was very accommodating as we "tailored" it to our interests. I will always use them when I plan day trips around England in the future.

We’ve lived in Swindon for 15 years but never thought of taking a tour of the local area but so glad we did. Like most people our holiday got cancelled this year so we had to come up with a new plan to keep the kids happy. The wife suggested doing some day trips and looked up companys that dont just run a big tour where they try and cram as many people on as possible and treat you like cattle. We wanted to stay safe and decide our own schedule without the hassle of all the talking. Luckily Tailored Tours were a godsend. They suggested this tour and even said they would pick us up and drop us back off at home! We were blown away with the tour. We’d been to Bath before but we didn’t know half the stuff we found out with Oz and we never went to Castle Coombe or Lacock before. Amazing what there is around when look. Recommend anyone to take a tour with these guys. Already booked a tour to Stratford and Oxford for next year and looking forward to it massively!
