We so enjoyed our trip. It was a favorite tour while we visited Europe for 2.5 weeks. Our guide, Oz, was incredible knowledgeable about each place we went. Our driver, Christian, was very helpful, especially getting me in and out of the van (I have a fractured kneecap that is still healing). We will use this company every time we visit London.

Amazing country side sight seeing. We had time wnough to see all places we wanted to visit. William was excellent! Very knowledgeable, and he accommodate all our needs. He made the trip fun for all of us (husband, 2 children and I) It was so worth it to do this day trip. We will definitely do it again!!

Our guide Oz was just amazing! Our tour was like going around with a knowledgeable friend who gave us pointers on what to do, accommodated our interests and attempted to customize the tour. We felt very comfortable throughout the tour and were amazed by how interesting a 10 hour+ tour could be because of the numerous stories Oz shared. As a result of this experience, we will only do customized tours. Thank you, Oz!!!

We traveled as a family of five (three being teenagers). Mark was our guide for the day. He was prompt to pick up in the morning, courteous & professional. The van was absolutely spotless. He took us first to Oxford after getting through crazy London traffic. We enjoyed a tour on foot, and he allowed us time for some souvenirs at the end. Then, we made our way through the Cotswolds. Mark reserved a delicious pub lunch for us at The Bell in Stow on the Wold. The food was great (with HUGE portions!) and the setting was quite nice. We then traveled to Stratford upon Avon & saw the outside of Ann Hathaway’s cottage and the inside of Shakespeare’s birth place. We had asked Oliver & Mark previously if we could stop at the parish church in Aston Rowant where one of my husband’s ancestors was from. We stopped there for some photos on the way back to London. We completely loved our day & would recommend Tailored Tours to anyone. Having done a big bus tour before, we really loved the special touches of an individualized tour.

Oz took us on a truly marvelous tour of Stratford on Avon, the Cotswolds, & Oxford. From the ease of booking, to the delivery back to our hotel all was handled in a courteous, accommodating and professional manner. My wife and I who have travelled all over the world and our two teenage granddaughters all experienced the breadth of Oz’s knowledge of British history and culture (modern as well), his love and appreciation for Great Britain and his ability to communicate it in an easily digestible way. Never had we had a more pleasurable travel experience.

Tailored Tours really lives up to their name. My wife and I really liked the idea of this trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary but weren’t fussed about going into Oxford as we’d both been there before and neither of us were interested in the church. We called them up and Sam suggested a stop at Warwick castle instead. You don’t get this level of flexibility normally so we were both really happy. This was a good start and things only got better. We were picked up from our hotel by Oz – our private tour guide for the day – and set off for Stratford. Along the way Oz gave us little snippets of information that gave context and meaning to everything we saw. Ever wondered where the phrase ‘hitting the hay’ comes from? Take this tour and you’ll find out first hand. The trip to Warwick castle was a great addition to the tour and really made our day. The views from the top were stunning and we were really lucky with the weather. Oz let us take our time and look round and we even took in the birds of prey show – a real highlight. On the drive back, we still managed to learn fascinating new things about Oxford which gave us a whole new perspective on a city we’d been to so many times and thought we knew inside and out! We finished off the day as it began – being dropped off back at our hotel. A truly magnificent day out and a wonderful historical tour!

We had an amazing trip to Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds with Oz our guide. The trip was very professional and very well organized. Oz really knows his way around the area and his depth of knowledge of the history of the locations is fantastic. You could not ask for a better guide. Our trip was a little different because we asked not to go to Oxford and spend more time in the Cotswolds. Oz picked us up on time and the van was very comfortable. It’s a long drive out to Stratford Upon Avon, but Oz kicks things off sharing interesting history of areas you pass on the way out that really helps to pass the time. I really liked that we got to Stratford Upon Avon earlier than all the big tour busses meaning we could enjoy the city before it was swamped! The drive through the Cotswolds is beautiful. I really enjoyed the smaller towns we visited that on a larger tour bus would not have been possible due to the small roads you have to take to get to them. We got some beautiful pictures of the area particularly in the smaller towns. Our lunch location that was picked out was fantastic. It was a great pub experience. We even got to stop by the Church that is believed to be the inspiration for JRR Tolkien’s doors to Moria came from which I particularly enjoyed. We also made a quick stop to the town used for Downton Abbey’s Village scenes. You really can’t go wrong with this company. Many years ago, I did a similar trip with another company out to Stonehenge and though it was enjoyable it was no where near as good as this one with Oz. We spent five days in England, and we all reflected about how much fun the trip with Tailored Tours was. It was a hit for all of us.
