Great tour and a great guide! Even thought we got unlucky with rain our guide Rona helped keep the group’s spirits up and gave a very detailed and intruiging tour. 5 stars is not enough to describe it!

Our guide Jimmy had so much historical information about Berlin and its sights that he made accessible to us, particularly 20th century Berlin. I've read about and seen a lot of these sights in books and online but it is a totally different thing to see them IRL - really brings it home. A lot of it is pretty dark and bleak but so necessary to be able to understand our present day. Highly recommended to get a grip on why Berlin and indeed Germany is the way it is now.

Great historical walk with Padraic. He is a historian by trade from Ireland. He presents the Berlin history in an entertaining way. He is also flexible and will accomodate special intetests.

Extremely well led by Steve who educated, informed and entertained. I particularly liked his change of tone to very sombre when we reached the Fuhrer Bunker. A great experience well marshalled around a couple of bursts of heavy rain.

Reuben was a great guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on the history of Germany as he showed us to as many historical points as possible. We had a great time.

We had Rona as our guide and she was wonderful. She blended history, explanations, interesting gossip along with bits of humor and made the tour exciting and informative. It was a long tour and she moved us along smartly but it was never dull. One of the other people in our tour told me that she had never walked so far and so fast but she was with the tour to the end. That shows how good Rona was. She was both interesting and insightful. Excellent tour.

Our guided walking our excellent. Meeting up at the designated point was easy and our guide Luisa was lovely. She was so knowledgeable as she has lived in Germany much of her life but more importantly she really brought history to life making events easy to understand, interesting and fun. The four hours went by really quickly with a nice 20 min break halfway through, at one point a private tour guide interrupted her and was quite rude but I really admired her professionalism in how she handled the situation and didn’t let it affect her. I’d highly recommend this tour and if you get the chance ask for Luisa!!

The tour I chose started at noon on a Sunday and finished at 3.30 pm. Giles was our English tour guide who has lived in Berlin for over 30 years. He had so much knowledge and was happy to tell us all the stories he knew. He started with a chat with pictures of Berlin when it first started and how it developed into the city we see today. then we went to all the main sites from the Reichstag to Brandenberg Gates. It was a comfortable pace but Giles was so easy to listen to, very friendly, informative and happy to answer any questions we had. It was less than £20 but one of the best tours I have taken, I have tried the bus tours but sometimes it is just a recording or you cannot understand or hear the speaker. Definitely worth the time as it covered all the sites I wanted to see leaving time for shopping. you also stop in the middle for a 15-minute toilet/coffee break. Thanks, Giles for making it so great.
