The land part of the trip was very good. Trolly driver was very informative. We should have bought the guide book that went with it though and did some research on where we might have wanted to stop and get off and spend more time. We did not enjoy the sea portion of trip at all. First we had to wait in a long very hot unshaded line to get on the boat. It was moving very slowly and come to find out it was because they were making everyone stop and get their picture taken. Second, when we got in the boat there was no place to sit that you could see out the windows they were already taken. We got i in line at 3:10 which we thought was early enough since you could not even start boarding until 3:00. The room was very crowded and stuffy. At the top of the boat which was open there were not enough seats in the shade. It took a long time to get a drink because they did not have enough people working. We ended up going outside and standing and trying to find shade but that’s a long time to be on your feet and there really wasn’t that much interesting stuff to see anyway

My husband and I were a little disappointed in the trolley ride through Savannah. The driver didn’t seem to care very much and there was no interaction even though he asked for us to ask questions. Actually, it was a little boring… a lot boring actually. Also, which I am confused the driver was to take us to the river boat cruise, which he did not but it says online that he would drop us off at the riverboat. So that was very disappointing. Also, online it says that the whole experience would take five hours, which wasn’t true. It only took three hours and we paid for parking for over six hours so that wasn’t right. So overall, it was not a good experience for my husband and myself. I have taken a tour of Savannah before with another company and I loved it. But Kelly Trolley was not good at all. Very disappointing!

The tour is very well organized: everything was on time, connection between the ground and the riverboat portions was absolutely smooth, and someone from the agency was around for an assistance the entire time. After that, it all comes to the guide. We did the ground part with Joe, a nice and knowledgeable guy, but OMG what a phlegmatic person! The tone is flat and monotonous, no excitement about anything, no connection to the basic history regular people would know; just pouring dates and local names no one can remember. I maybe wouldn’t have even noticed, but the guide on the boat was a complete opposite (the name’s Zacheous, sorry if misspelled) and what a wonderful touring it was! Would happily give him 6 stars AND a raise, dah🙂

I was sitting closer to the back of the trolley. I couldn’t hear the driver. The sound system was mediocre. When asking the driver questions because I couldn’t hear her instructions, she was very rude with her answers. The boat tour was overcrowded and loud. I couldn’t hear the narrator. When I took the shuttle back to the visitor center, the ac was not working. It was so hot in the shuttle I thought the woman next to me was going to faint. The shuttle driver’s response to the question asked if the ac was on was “you can get out now.” Not a company with very good customer service. I would not recommend.

Our land guide Ben is very knowledgeable of the city. He presents the information in a way that captivated our interest and in a sometimes humorous way. So glad he was our guide! The sea tour happened during a downpour. The guide was also very knowledgeable and has a great broadcaster voice. Very informative tour and once the rain stopped we could enjoy the river views

Kim_C

Both the tour guide on the bus and boat were very informative and knowledgeable. it was a lot of information to take in. It was a good overview of Savannah, giving you an idea of where to go back and spend more time. It was nice not having to get off like the Hop on Hop off tour. The riverboat offered food and drinks but we chose to eat at the River walk at one of the many eating establishments.

The trolley driver was excellent but I can’t say that the boat was a enjoyable the boat narrator was not entertaining

First, we appreciated the prompt communication from tour company. It made it very easy to obtain our tickets and keep up with times and places to be picked up. Both tour guides were knowledgeable, professional and friendly and made the tours fun. I would definitely recommend this tour company.

From the pick up to the final stop at the Riverwalk, the narrator's did a fabulous job. Very informative.
