See another of NYC's uniquely innovative parks. This stunning and very popular park, sits atop the Hudson River on stilt-like "Tulip Pots". The beautiful park is relatively small at just 2.4 acres in size, and therefore, access to the park's interior is limited based upon crowd size. Although we indicate a "pass by without stopping" at this attraction, your Guide will do everything in their power to get your tour group interior access to the park, if there is availability.

The Vessel

(Pass by)

This is an absolutely stunning piece of climbable art and architecture It is indisputably, the hottest attraction to arrive in New York City, in decades! A definite must-see as part of your tour of the High Line. Tour Guests will have a chance to view this amazing structure that begs for photos to be taken, as the tour concludes in the Hudson Yards area. You are welcome to spend as much or as little time there at tour's end. Please make sure that you bring your camera!

Debbie was very knowledgeable about the area and the architecture, she was a funny and engaging guide, she made the tour extra interesting by having a series of photos showing how the area used to be. I also thought it was a nice touch that she knew all the best photo spots and how best to take them We learned and saw so much more than we ever would have done if we had just walked the High Line on our own Thank you Debbie for helping us make some great memories.

Debbie M is a licensed NYC tour guide who gave our group an amazing tour of Little Island Park, the Highline, including, a trip up to the Edge Observation Deck. She has a wealth of knowledge about city architecture, city history and flora. Debbie is witty and charming.

We had an almost confidential tour (two European couples) of the highline and the meatpacking district with Debbie, which we are unlikely to forget. Great tour, great guide, great views, great photos, great discussions for history & architecture lovers : what's not to like indeed ?!!!

We spent three delightful hours in Debbie's company, along with three lovely lady tourists also visiting from Manchester, UK, walking the High Line and finding out its secrets. We also visited Little Island and Debbie was very knowledgeable about that too. Her knowledge of the history of Manhattan was extensive. She is a wonderful guide and made the trip very worthwhile.

We had a truly fantastic trip with our guide Debbie. Debbie had incredibly extensive knowledge about the entire area around the Highline and Chelsea Meat Packing District. Moreover, Debbie was very helpful in ensuring that we took some beautiful pictures of the area, so we captured the perfect angles and brought home some beautiful memories. Ask for Debbie if you need a tour of the area. She receives my warmest recommendations.

Debbie is such a good guide! She knows the area very well and she is a good story teller. During the tour we enjoyed the wonderful view of the area and learnt a lot about the history and the secrets of the meatpacking District and the highline. We definitely had a good time.

The first tour I booked for my recent trip to NYC (June 7) was for The High Line. I am so glad we had Debbie M., who braved the worst weather in the country due to the Canadian wildfires to take my friend and I on the tour. We were thrilled with her insights into the area and the experience was beyond memorable. At the end she recommended a great restaurant, which proved to be the best meal of our time in NYC.

Debbie was great. Very knowledgeable. We started at Chelsea Market, went to little island and then walked the high line from the meatpacking area to Hudson yards. Debbie told us about the architecture and the people. She took several pictures for us. We would highly recommend this walking tour.

The High Line and it’s History go way back to the 1920ts. Although supposed to be demolished it was saved by 2 guys who had a vision. Lots of history over the years!

Debbie M. was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge of the city, the architecture, the High Line and overall history of the area was outstanding. Probably the best city tour I have ever had. I highly recommend requesting Debbie M. if you are able to do so. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed myself, and my 13-year-old niece was completely in awe! Not easy to do! :-)
