An intimate and beautifully designed museum that gives you a wonderful immersion in the history and beauty of flamenco. An immersive theater makes you feel like you are at a real performance. What a treat.

I only went to the museum part as I had already been to 3 flamenco shows and didn't really have time to go to another one. I came during my kids nap time while my husband watched them and I decided to go and report back to him what I thought about the museum so he could decide whether to go or not. It was pretty terrible. Only thing I found interesting was one of the digital interaction boards showed you different movements, their names and why there were some a certain way. I think I was in and out within 15 minutes but definitely within 20. I'm assuming 95% of the positive reviews are for the show, not the museum, so it's hard to distinguish between the two when seeing the overall positive rating.

I could give this 10 stars if allowed. We watched the flamenco show and not really did the museum. The things that I liked; no phones allowed for pictures or recording and the small intimate location. What I loved, the enthusiasm and passion of the singers and the dancers. The whole show was simply out of the world. You can see that the ones in it actually love what they do and they do the best every single time. One advice I would give is to get there at least 30 min in advance to get the good seats in the front. This is a absolute "must do" to attend and enjoy. Please go if you get a chance.

Never been to a Flamenco show before, there are many to choose from, some are cheap tourist rip offs. If you ask the locals the majority will state the Museo del Baile Flamenco as amongst the best. There are 3 shows a day and you need to book in advance as shows sell out quickly. Also you need to get there at least 30 minutes in advance in order to get a decent seat. You pay EUR 25 each, we went to the 7pm show on a weekday. The show was spectacular and consisted of two female and one male dancer, two male singers and a guitarist, the show lasted an hour. The three dancers must have been pretty tired by the end as Flamenco is clearly very physically demanding and very artistic.

The history, preservation of the art form was demonstrated with local pride. Very unique and worthwhile. Gift shop great. Bought a CD but wanted a poster of a dancer that was not for sale.

This a museum with a clear mission, and it was almost completely unfulfilled. Despite some excellent photographs of famous Flamenco performers, and costumes, there was almost total lack of explanatory information. Merely listing different styles, with a cursory definition is a good example of what should have been on display. There are some videos of dancers, and recordings of good music, but all without an orientation, and little background of this unique Spanish genre of music and dance.

I did not see a show, only came to see the exhibitions, Complete waste of time. There is barely anything on display. A lot of the interactive things were not working. I did not learn anything about Flamenco. Not worth it.

Don’t usually write reviews, but so surprised such a pure entertainment show could be ranked so high. It was quite a disappointment as I was searching for another touching experience after watching the Flamenco at Casa de la Memoria, which was such a soul-touching artist performance and made me fall in love with Flamenco. The artists at Casa de la Memoria were so deeply indulged into their music and dance, and the skills were to used to show their feeling and emotion, not to just show off. To begin with, a good Flamenco show would never use microphone. This is the first sign that the Museo del Baile show was a superficial entertainment- they use such heavy electronic amplifier for the effect. With all due respect to the performers, I just did not find their feeling and emotion during the performance. Just a tiptap dance. I had to leave early btw since it almost ruined my love to Flamenco. Will have to seek another real performance to take back my fond memory on Flamenco. Just want to let those who come to Seville seeking authentic experience of the culture, do not take this as the real Flamenco. You deserve a much better one.

There are a lot of Flamenco shows around Seville, but my hotel recommended this one. I chose the one hour “intimo” show which is held downstairs and seats about 50 people. (The regular show is held upstairs). It’s best to get there early if you want a seat in the center, but since it’s only 2 rows of chairs, all seats have a good view. The performances were great - 3 dancers, a guitarist and singers. Each dancer had solos and performed as a group. I was amazed by the footwork and passion of the dancers. They do not allow photos or videos of the show, so you can be in the moment and focused on enjoying the performances. If you are not cheering at the end of the performance, you must be dead inside. Is it a little touristy? Of course it is, but it is a great introduction to Flamenco. The dancers will have you clapping and cheering olé by the end. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope you will too.

We saw a 60minute Flamenco show with 6 incredibly talented performers. The performance space is intimate so you can really appreciate the athleticism of the dancers. The guitarist was brilliant - overall a fabulous show.
