This is the way to see some of England outside of London. It is a full day trip with free time in each stop. Tony did commentary from the time we got on at the meeting spot until we got back. It quality of the tour, comfort of the coach, size of the group, the sites visited make this an excellent value.

Tony the tour leader was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, as well as an excellent driver.

We so enjoyed our "Cotswolds Villages, Stratford and Oxford Day Tour. This was my second tour with The English Bus, and it was fabulous! Lucy, our guide/driver was a gem. She gave us much history, was filled with such joy and had everyone laughing and asking questions. Lucy found a perfect balance between information, entertainment, and personalization. The tour included many stops but was well balanced so we didn't feel we missed something or didn't have enough time. It was a great overview and we definitely know where we would want to go back to explore more. Each stop was different and well timed and then there was the incredible Lucy which made this an unforgettable day exploring outside London.

a 12 hour day. We had 1.5 hours in Stratford, 20 minutes in each Cotswold stop, and 2 hours in Oxford. I wish we had started with Oxford because when we arrived late in the afternoon the museums were closed. The Cotswolds were beautiful but relatively brief. I could have done without Stratford and spent more time explore the Cotswolds. Lucy was friendly and knowledgeable but she's definitely the type of guide who provides A LOT of information between stops so if you're looking for more quiet time this isn't for you.

Our guide, Cara, was terrific. She was so much fun, and so very knowledgeable. The villages in the Cotswolds were lovely - especially the row of cottages at Bibury, and Oxford was a wonder. Stratford Upon Avon was a lovely town as well. One thing to be aware of is that the church that holds the grave of William Shakespeare may not be open to you on the day you tour - this was hugely disappointing to a member of my party who had waited her whole adult life to see it. Also, the buildings in Oxford that we were hoping to pop into were not open when we got there. It was a very long day, and perhaps this tour should be originated in Bath, in order to have adequate time to see everything and have a little more time at each place. Still, all in all, it was a wonderful day.

This was a fabulous tour and Tony was an outstanding Guide. He did a great job of narrating throughout the day as we drove through the various parts of London and our destination Locations. I loved the fact that, as a small group, we were able to travel on some of the smaller roads throughout the Cotswold. It was a very enjoyable day. My only suggestion is that I would’ve liked a little more time in Stratford upon Avon. We made a stop at the Trinity Church, but only had 10 to walk around.

Cotswold, Oxford and Straton Upon Avon with Lucy Crane. First, I must say, Lucy is wonderful. We absolutely loved her. She was fun, friendly, had tons of information to share with us. History, suggested spots to visit, little things to notice along the way, etc. She made this tour so fun and informative. We never felt rushed. Really highly recommend your tour.

We loved our small group tour! Andy was very organized, informative and insightful. His tour of Oxford was extraordinary, and entertaining. Don’t miss it!!! The shuttle was very comfortable with plenty of room for personals.

What a delightful day! We loved the small group tour and our tour guide Lucy was wonderful. She was funny, informative, and helpful - and took time to get to know each of us a little. Our van was super comfortable, had charging ports, and seats that could lean back a little. The extra cost of doing a small group tour (vs a larger bus) was worth it! Our van could get to places that the larger groups couldn't and the experienced was more personalized. We were most excited about the Cotswolds and they were spectacular in the spring - but we were pleasantly surprised by Stratford as well. We appreciated the informative walking tour of Oxford - we really didn't know anything about the area or the buildings and found it all fascinating. We wanted an overview of each of these areas and now we know we'd like to go back to the Cotswolds and spend several days there. We highly recommend tours from The English Bus company.

In spite of the weather the trip went smoothly. The guide Andy was extremely informative, friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable. There were many scenic stopovers. It was great to have free time to explore Oxford. It would have been great to stop the bus twice through the Cotswold area for a quick photo opportunity. Otherwise well worth doing.
