Had a great time snorkeling with the team today. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from communication before the trip, trying on the wetsuits, and to helping us spot fish etc during the snorkeling session.

We were picked up on time by Paulo who was friendly and very helpful. Our kit fitted perfectly once we’d squeezed into it. We were given clear instructions and advice plus a preview of what to look for. We were in the water for well over an hour and had a brilliant time at Amadores Beach. There were lots of fish of all shapes and sizes and some crabs in the rocky areas. The shoals of fish came really close and swam around and beneath us as we floated on the surface. Visibility was excellent. We felt very safe with Pablo who stayed nearby and pointed out things we would otherwise have missed. A really good trip we can recommend wholeheartedly

We had a fantastic time!! We were picked up promptly and welcomed by the team. Immediately felt comfortable. After fitting wetsuits we wasted no time and travelled to a beautiful snorkelling spot. It was an incredible experience which we will definitely do again or even try scuba diving. 11/10 would recommend this! 🐠

Excellent experience from start to finish. The pre-trip comms for pick up and kit sizing were friendly and efficient. Pick up was bang on time. The welcoming team were great, they made everyone feel comfortable, made sure our kit fitted well, and did all the work taking it to the snorkelling location. They chose a spot suitable for the conditions on the day and the range of abilities in the group with a comprehensive briefing showing us all the different fish to look out for. There was so much to see! The team sorted out all the kit afterwards, it was effortless for us participants, and really fun morning.

We had the best snorkeling experience with Leagues Ahead Diving! As a family of 4 with two 11 year olds it was so convenient with pick up at the hotel we were taken to the dive centre for a short visit to try on wet suits and sign paperwork etc! Must have burned 1000 calories just getting into and out off the wetsuits lol! Phew! Paulo then took us to a beach renowned for snorkeling and diving. A short briefing from the car park area showing us where we were going to snorkel and rhe types of fish we would see and it was back into the wetsuits and a walk to the beach. It was sandy beach and a gentle walk into the sea. Paulo showed how to put on mask and snorkel and importantly, how to clear water from the mask and snorkel. Then flippers on and we were off! Wow, just wow! We saw loads of different fish 🐟 all sizes and colours! Paulo would also free dive beneath us and point out those more camouflaged that were hiding in the rocks and sand. However, the highlight has to be that we saw a beautiful sting ray - wow - it was awesome! Paulo said it was probably the second largest he's seen here. The children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - they having never snorkelled before and both said they would love to do it again. We would certainly recommend Leagues Ahead Diving for anyone who wants to try snorkeling.

Snorkeling in the warm, shimmering waters under the radiant sun is truly an invigorating experience. As you glide through the azure depths, the cool, salty water caressing your skin, it's like entering another world. A world teeming with vibrant corals of all shapes, sizes, and colors. A world bustling with life, where schools of colorful fish dart in and out of the underwater vegetation. The sun above reflects off the water surface, casting a magical, dappled light show that dances over the seafloor beneath you. It's an ever-changing landscape that never fails to amaze. Every time you dive, there's something new to marvel at - a rare species of fish, a strikingly patterned sea slug, a hidden cave that's just begging to be explored. There's something uniquely therapeutic about being submerged in this underwater paradise, with nothing but the gentle rhythm of your own breathing and the distant sound of the ocean in your ears. The world above, with all its troubles and worries, seems a million miles away. And when you finally resurface, with the warm sun on your face and the taste of salt on your lips, you can't help but feel a sense of profound peace and satisfaction. It's the kind of simple, pure joy that only snorkeling under the sun can bring.

I wholeheartedly recommend snorkeling and diving with Leagues Ahead Diving. All of the instructors I had (Sophie, Emil, and Kyle) are caring and attentive. They do their best to make you feel safe and comfortable in the water. I originally planned just one day of snorkeling, but that quickly turned into an additional day of snorkeling. I had so much fun that chose to do my very first scuba dive with them as well. The instructors will take you to the spots with best conditions for the day. The water was very clear all three days I went (in April). I saw damsel fish, parrot fish, mullets, moral eel, trumpet fish, arrow crabs, barracuda, sea cucumbers, fire worms, and several other types of sea life. They provide a wet suit, so no worries about getting sunburned.

First time trying snorkeling and it was a wonderful experience, great to take a cooling dip in the ocean especially during an unexpected heat wave. Kyle our guide was great made us both feel very safe and well cared for and helping point out interesting wildlife🐙🐡🐠🐟🪸🤿 Next time definitely want to try the scuba 💖💖

The whole trip was managed by enthusiastic, helpful, engaging and highly proficient staff from Leagues Ahead. I was firmly convinced that they would do all within their power to provide an excellent experience from necessary admin by Sophie, equipment and snorkelling experience with Paulo and Kyle. When I return to Gran Canaria I will book another experience with them.
