Such a fun night with super knowledgeable and interesting hosts in Bajwa and Magdalene! Really interactive, really fascinating, and the blankets and hot chocolate were very much appreciated too! Suggest getting there a bit earlier than the tour as it’s tricky to find the right area in the dark (though the signs placed by our hosts helped a lot!).

I booked the excursion the day of, and it was confirmed. A short while later, it was cancelled, and gave me two options to reschedule. I am not a resident of this country and neither option was suitable, so I require a refund. I haven't heard from them since. We were excited about this excursion. The reservation shouldn't have been confirmed if it was to be cancelled a half hour later. I understand a "no refund" policy if I cancel, but they have essentially taken my money with nothing in return. Unacceptable and very disappointed.

An amazing experience. Good interesting stuff to hear and experience. They were also flexible in accommodating my family in an earlier slot and still ensuring we had a great experience. Would totally recommend

Amazing experience and we were blessed with a beautiful sky/weather. I always am looking to participate in any astronomy activities on offer anywhere I go and for awhile I have been meaning to do stargazing in the Blue Mountains. We were lucky we also were there for the meteor shower and got to see two meteors which is a memory I will cherish forever. When we split off into little groups our guide/astronomer Bajwa was very informative and ensured no one felt left out. He was very smart and answered all the questions we threw at him no matter how hard so credit to Bajwa. We also loved the hot chocolate, definitely a nice touch.

It’s amazing experience! Family enjoyed it! Hot chocolate is the best ever! 😊 we are lucky it was the peak day of lydrid meteors shower, even with the bright moon light, we still lucky caught some quick flash! Only mistake we made is we didn’t get enough warm garments 😄 . A camping chair and a warm blanket will definitely make the stargazing more enjoyable! We already planned to make another one at the beach !

This was a wonderful look at the night sky with lots of information. Astronomer Dimitri was outstanding with his laser pointer showing us familiar as well as new stars and galaxies. He explained ancient stories constellations and gave some context to indigenous perspectives. Think about the phases of the moon for your booking, since this night it was almost completely full; some things might be clearer at other times. A chair is a good idea, though my picnic blanket and cushion worked OK. Great atmosphere and lots of stunning moments. The view of the moon through a proper telescope will stay with me forever.

My daughter and I attended this and both loved it. The astronomer was so interesting, attentive and responded to everyone’s questions, big and small. We learnt so much and would definitely go again!

An entertaining and informative evening. Our leader Bajwa is very knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. We now know lots more about the brightest stars, super novas, black holes and navigation. Bajwa also explained indigenous celestial readings. Definitely recommended for families as the kids get to look through the telescope.

Such a fantastic night gazing at the stars and learning so many fun facts about our solar system. The Astronomer made the talk very engaging for all ages. The warm blankets and hot chocolate made for a cosy experience. We will ensure to return again the next time we are in the Blue Mountains.
