Had a great time even if it was foggy due to thunderstorm earlier in the day. 3 levels to see so worth it

Definitely worth a visit. Even on a bad visibility day the experience was worth it although I imagine it would be even more spectacular on a clear day. Entertaining for all ages.

We had so much fun here over Memorial Day Weekend. We loved the interactive rooms and the incredible views were an added bonus. The food in the cafe was delicious. I wasn’t expecting their breakfast sandwiches to be so delicious. Out of all the NYC skyline views- this is the one we all truly loved. It flows well, so we never felt overwhelmed or that it was too crowded. The only longer wait was to step into the glass box overhang. We enjoyed every moment of it. The proximity to Grand Central Station is perfect.

By a very strange coincidence, I visited in the exact same day 2 years earlier, and while in NYC again, wanted to come with family who had not visited. The building is incredible. The experiences are wonderful, and the interactiveness was so much fun, it’s really a very unique and wonderful experience. Despite the weather being awful, with no visibility, we decided to go up, as the rooms and floors were just as amazing as the views in a clear day. They had added a new section since my last visit, which was a nice touch of having your face in the clouds on a giant wall, and the silver balls room and the mirrored room are still wonderful, even with no visibility. The huge downside is as always the rude staff. I know New Yorkers are known for being brash and a little lacking in customer service, but you’d expect here for it to be top notch as it’s not cheap. The teams across the floors shouted and hollered at all guests, so incredibly rude, unwelcoming and aggressive. They also conflicted and contradicted each other. One section leaving the ball room, walking down a corridor a lady with glasses and amblyopia was screaming at people to use your common sense and look at people in front when taking off the protective footwear. The lady further up, was telling all to keep footwear on. This lady with glasses and amblyopia had also screamed at guests to hurry up and not take pictures! Rushing everyone along. I’m sorry, but if I’ve paid money I’ll take my sweet time. The other staff were largely surly and moody when directing guests, and in the ball room one guy was shouting that people are like children. lol. What a delight. Largely staff were ok, but I’m not paying money to be shouted at, so I’ll take my time thanks, New York and this experience is expensive, so I’ll enjoy it at my pace.

Unfortunately, after 3 days of 70’s 80’s the weather socked in just as we came to the experience. We could see nothing of the city- It was our last day, and I would be very careful and telling others not to schedule this experience on their last day in the city because tickets are not refundable, but they can be rescheduled. If they don’t have that flexibility, I’d tell him to pass. It’s too expensive to not be able to see the city!!!!

Well organised and great fun, able to act like children as well as taking in all the views. Would definitely recommend.

We had fun, but went at night and it got overcast so unfortunately could see nothing but grey cloud cover out the windows. Disappointing in anything other than clear weather. But super cool, I imagine, in great weather.

Best experience in NY, love Summit and it was a second that I was here. Definitely come back again ❤️

I purchased 5 tickets for my family and I to experience the beautiful views of NY at night however it was extremely foggy and absolutely nothing to see. Although they have other rooms to experience other than the city views, my family and I already experienced it the first time and spent hundreds of dollars solely for the views this time. I understand we can’t control Mother Nature however there should still be some sort of compensation. I normally wouldn’t complain however spending that much money for 0 visibility is unacceptable.
