Rothenburg is exactly what we pictured when we thought of Germany. Great guide and bus and was a terrific trip.

This was a perfect day trip from Munich. Our guide, Jacqueline, was clever, funny, and very knowledgeable. Harburg Castle is beautiful with an interesting history and Rothenburg has many things to do as well. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone staying in Munich.

Great tour. I wish we had more time in Rothenburg, but it's quite a drive from Munich, so I understand the length available. Our tour guide and the driver were both very very nice. The town is of course as amazing as one would expect. I definitely recommend this.

Good trip to Rothenberg & castle. Guide was one of best we had on any tour. Knowledge, helpful and included everyone in caring manner. Only negative was need for toilet break on drive back to Munich, as it takes 3 hours.

Harburg was very interesting! Rothenburg has so much character! Ride was smooth and guide was friendly.

If you don’t have time to stay in Rothenburg this is a good tour to take. We could have skipped the Harburg castle and went straight to Rothenburg because we wanted more time there. The guide shares info on the bus with you however it is self guided once you enter the city.

With the walls and gates intact, the center of town is such a glimpse back in time. Appearing like the essential medieval German market town, it's nonetheless a vibrant destination for tourists and locals with a bustling market square.

At the castle we choose to stay on the bus since it was windy and raining. The city is very impressive to see. We would have rather have bypass the castle and head straight to the city. Would have enjoyed more time there to sightsee and shop. The only drawback to the tour is the long bus ride.

I must have missed the part in the description of the tour that said the tour would be with 70 others. I always try to book small group tours. Being herded with a large group is not my preference. Monica was a bright spot. She was knowledgeable and did her best to lift spirits. We had a rain storm which ended up making the trip an ordeal. We were 2.5 hours late getting back due to traffic. Not any one’s fault and Monica did her best under the circumstances.
