It was an outstanding day with perfect weather. Our host was very knowledgeable and made all guests feel comfortable. The pick up process was flawless. This is a must do!

We had back-to-back tours with our wonderful Gareth! On this day Gareth drove us to the farthest point first and we worked our way back toward Cardiff. Oh yes it was raining, but then we knew we didn't book Hawaii. Gareth made the drive a real pleasure giving us really interesting information about Welsh history and literature as we rode along. Pembroke Castle was our first stop. NOTE: If you buy a 3-day or week's castle pass, they are not part of that, and you pay separately. Much to view and got great photos. Then we visited Tenby, a lovely resort town, busy even off-season, even in the rain. Can't imagine it in summer. Loved walking the beach. On to Laugharne where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote. Fewer stops because more driving. Loved every minute.

From the moment we began our communication with Gareth, our experience was fantastic! He recommended towns to stay in outside of Cardiff which was booked solid due to a Six Nations rugby match and offered to pick us up at our B&B which was on route with our tour. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off right at the train station which was greatly appreciated. This saved us a lot of back and forth with taxis and trains on a very busy "match day". Throughout the tour, he communicated with both the French and English speaking participants and made everyone feel involved with the conversation. The tour stops were amazing, with enough time to visit and not feel rushed. If you are looking for a great way to see much of South West Wales with a trusted and knowledgeable guide, book this tour!

We took two trips with Gareth: one of the valleys of Wales and the other of the west. The tours were remarkable and Gareth was so patient in explaining the history behind every place we had seen. He provided us with useful tips to make our tours a success. Thank you.

Gareth was a great guide! Even though the weather was iffy, the tour went on. Good insight on Welsh history and culture. Pembroke castle was interesting, but Tenby was the star of the show.

The whole trip was memorable and fantastic. Our guide, Gareth was one of best guides we have ever had,and we have travelled extensively. First time we were ever contacted by guide days before tour for pickup and information. Even though it rained most of the day it did not dampen our enjoyment of the tour. We would not change anything We highly recommend Gareth and this tour. If you like history and castles this is the one to take. Ray and Donna from Canada
