• Tour starts in the Threshing Barn with an introduction to The Oxford Artisan Distillery, we cover our journey to launch and what makes us a unique grain-to-glass distillery. We will introduce our exclusive populations of heritage grain.
• This is followed by the Distillery where we take you through our grain to bottle process and you get to see our unique stills Nautilus and Nemo.
• Finally you finish back in the shop
We include a number of tastings throughout the tour.

We drove to the Oxford Distillery during our five day stay in the Cotswolds. The distillery and surrounding grounds are very impressive. I had negotiated with my wife that I would accompany her on a day trip to Stratford on Avon in return for a tasting at the distillery. We arrived and the gentleman selling tickets asked who was driving. I told him I was the driver as my wife doesn’t drive a stick shift in our rental car. He explained that I would be given a hospitality sample but that drivers were discouraged from actual tasting. This is understandable since American tourists (including myself) are an absolute menace on the narrow muddy roads. As we were waiting for the tour we decided to get our money back since my wife doesn’t care for gin or whiskey. Tequila or wine would have been different! They were very nice about refunding the 50 pounds which we promptly used to buy a bottle to bring home. I completely understand the driving and drinking policy but would have preferred to know it in advance.

Very interesting and informative tour with various tastings of gins, whiskeys and vodka. Great value for money. Would have been good to see it working. Our tour guide and his dog Rupert were lovely.

Brilliant tour with such enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff made for a great visit and really insightful. Don't expect a simple tasting event, this is so much more about the farming and production of the ingredients that make up the variety of Brilliant and unique gins, whiskies and vodka.
Highly recommended and great value.

It's not really a tour as there are only a couple of stills to see; however the presentation was interesting a there was a very good tasting of the products.

Loved the tour … and alcohol! Also, our tour guide Mitchell he delivered the tour to perfection (he was entertaining and very informative about the distillery)!
Also, to join Mitchell and his tour his dog was a lovely addition!

What a fabulous place .. Never been on a distillery tour so had no idea what to expect .. started off with a very tasty G&T while we waited for our tour guide Paul.. what an enthusiastic and knowledgeable chap .. we all listened with interest to his informative explanations of the business , how it evolved and is expanding .. particularly interesting was the examples of heritage grain .. the talk was interspersed with very sizeable tasters of gins , vodka and whisky . Following this was the tour of the stills , where we tasted whisky liquor and Paul gave another interesting and fun talk about the processes used .. then finally onto the shop for one more taster , purchasing goods and ordering a taxi .. thanks Paul and team for a fabulous hour or so . I’m off to another distillery tour this week .. that will have its work cut out to beat this experience
