Das war so wunderbar! Wir haben diese Tour vor der Reise gebucht, weil uns aufgrund unserer kurzfristigen Planung keine intensive Vorbereitung mehr möglich war. Thomas hat uns ein paar Tage vorab kontaktiert und dann bis zum Treffpunkt per WhatApp Kontakt gehalten. Das war schon außergewöhnlich und das bei unserer ersten solchen Tour. Am Tag der Tour hat er uns zuverlässig am Treffpunkt erwartet und dann starteten wir in einen wundervollen Tag an dem wir viel über Portugals und Lissabons Geschichte lernten (wir kennen nun Luis de Camoes!), sehr schöne Orte besuchten und wunderbares Essen zu uns nahmen. Thomas hat sich für alles Zeit genommen und ist auf uns vier sehr eingegangen. Wir gingen tolle Wege, auf denen er uns an seinem großen Wissen teilhaben ließ und uns Tipps für die nächsten Tage gab. Am Abend hat er uns dann noch in einem sehr schönen Restaurant einen Tisch organisiert und wir konnten die Eindrücke zusammen mit dem herrlichen Essen verarbeiten. Das war genau die richtige Einstimmung in den Kurzurlaub und macht Lust auf einen weiteren Besuch der Stadt und des Landes. Sicherlich nicht ohne ihn. Ob Portugal um seinen besten Botschafter weiß? There are good tour guides...there are very good tour guides and there is Thomas. We had the great pleasure of a private tour of Lisbon with Thomas and I have to say, it was great. I mean the city...Thomas was extraordinary. Thomas's knowledge of the city is incredible. He tells history and stories that are never boring but exciting and informative. Thanks to him, we got to see places in Lisbon that we would never have seen on our own. Thomas accommodates every private request and even helped us find a toothbrush. I could talk forever about this great day with Thomas and I now understand why you should contact Thomas as early as possible, otherwise he is fully booked. This was my second time in Portugal with Thomas, who is knowledgeable, cheerful and has a deep knowledge of the historical and cultural subject matter! It was once again a great experience and I saw things that are closed to "normal" people - simply brilliant. If you are looking for something really special, you can't go past Thomas. Often fully booked, but if you are lucky enough to get him, you are in the best hands :))

Combined hiking and culture trip At the end of March 2024, we visited Lisbon as a large group of hiking and culture enthusiasts. From the first moment at the airport, Thomas looked after us. All organizational challenges that such a large group brings with it were immediately solved professionally and comprehensively. Starting with checking in at the hotel, getting subway tickets for everyone or organizing dinner for 43 people. No problem at all. The division and supervision of the hiking and culture group went really smoothly. With Thomas we went to a wide variety of cities and sights, the hikers were carefully guided and also received a great insight into the surrounding culture during the hikes. With Thomas it was a great pleasure to immerse ourselves in the cultural history of Portugal. No place, building, street or even the smallest detail was left out. The history with all the people in it was brought so close to us that we always wanted more. 5 days of planned hiking and 1 day of culture turned into 4 days of culture and only 2 days of hiking with culture. There was hardly a question that Thomas didn't have an immediate, well-founded answer to. But Thomas also became a sought-after advisor for useful everyday things. Whether we were looking for activities on our own or a question about a good restaurant - Thomas' recommendations were simply great. In the restaurant we were greeted as Thomas' friends, so to speak. Saying goodbye on the last evening together was obviously difficult for some. The result is clear. We'll be back and then we'll start again with Thomas.
