Had a great time with Robert. His stories of San Francisco gave us a glimpse into its history with a dash of macabre. Thanks for the recommendation on the potato and garlic pizza!

The host was a really kind and genuine person. I really enjoyed his tour, and more importantly his company. We travelled in a group of about 6-10 people as he told us stories of Haight’s grittier past as a community consisting of many artists, musicians, free spirited people. The host himself seemed to be a long time resident of the area and brought a really sincere insight to all his experiences in the area over the decade. I highly recommend this host and his tour! PS: I’d recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater

It was an excellent tour of the Haight. Guide was humorous and extremely knowledgeable about the Haight and the famous people who lived there. Even my sister-in-law who has lived in San Francisco for many years learned things she didn’t know about the Haight. Highly recommend this tour for families with older teens.

We arrived for our tour and were very happy to discover that Robert was our guide (we had taken the Fisherman’s wharf tour with him a few days before). The tour was great and as always Robert provided a wealth of information, including his own experiences living in the area. Would highly recommend for those that want to get a full picture of the Haight - it’s more than just the centre of the Summer of Love!
