A short video at the start gives people’s account of what it was like in Almeria during the Civil War. Subtitles in English. The tour itself is all in Spanish - I know there were various nationalities there and even just a sheet of info would have helped give us a little bit more understanding for those of us that are not fluent.

VERY INTERESTING. IT IS PART OF THE HISTORY OF SPAIN. IT IS IN THE CENTER OF ALMERIA, YOU CAN WALK. THE GUIDE WHO WERE USED, MARCOS, WAS VERY ANEMO AND MADE US THE VISIT VERY INTERESTING

Very impressive and an enthusiastic guide Marcus. He must have done this many times before, but he told it as if it were the first time. Full of passion. Good English. Takes an hour and that's enough.

Great visit! The guide clearly liked it and made it super enjoyable and not at all heavy. Highly recommended!

First I'm sorry that the accents are not marked. The Refuge Museum is very well preserved. It is clear that it is because the hoof of human beings has not trampled it excessively in recent years. Everything is perfect, the visit and the guide are essential.

A spectacular experience, especially the guide who was a great guy whose name I don't remember, he was wonderful at explaining it. My 18 and 10 year old daughters came out delighted and enjoyed it very much.

There are several visits, through the town hall that you must book well in advance and with private companies like Alindalus, which was the one we did it with. The refuge is very well preserved and the guide Antonio made our visit most enjoyable and educational. We went with 2 children, ages 8 and 11, and they enjoyed it very much. Totally recommended
