Your Itinerary

Laguna di Venezia

(Pass by)

Navigate through the Venetian Lagoon to reach the islands and enjoy the view!

Isola di Murano

The island of Murano is the first stop of this excursion: you will have a chance to enter a glass factory and see the masters working the glass as they have been doing for centuries and then visit the center of the island.

Isola di Burano - World Heritage Site

Second stop of this half day excursion is Burano, famous for the colorful fishermen's houses and for the traditional handmade laces.

Isola Torcello

Torcello is the third and last stop of this tour. The island is the first to be inhabited in the Venetian lagoon and still shows the traces of its origins.

Chiesa di Santa Fosca

(Pass by)

The church of Santa Fosca stands in the main square of Torcello and is a fine example of venetian-byzantine style.

Trono di Attila

In the middle of Torcello stands the ancient Attila's throne.

Ponte del Diavolo

Cross the Devil's Bridge which still preserves the shape of the ancient Venetian bridges

Piazza San Marco

(Pass by)

The boat leaves from St'Mark's Square, which you will have the chance to admire from a different perspective.

You could skip Torcello and extend the time at Burano. Burano is lovely and 45 minutes is not enough.

The tour company was punctual. Clear communication on times we were expected to be back to the boat. The tour guide was informative as we traveled in between islands, pointing out relevant sights and facts. There was so much to take in and explore on each of the islands. Lots of photos were taken! Enjoyed the glass making demonstration, but would advise seeing what the other stores have to offer afterwards. Only wished the weather had stayed as lovely as it began, but that's no fault of the tour company, obviously.

If you want to take a couple of boat rides for not a lot of money then this is the place at 27euro per ticket. The trip to Murano was to briefly watch a glass blower then go straight into the gift store. From what we could see there wasn’t much more to see anyway. The next stop to Torcello which I wish we could have skipped as there is nothing there. Lastly to Burano which was a quaint little town worth seeing. They could have had better instructions where to meet which otherwise was confusing. (Just go to ticket office - there is no guide checking you in. Guide meets you as you wait for boat). The guide used a PA system on the boat which was not really audible so if you wanted to learn about where you were going- forget it. But the ticket was inexpensive.

Well worth seeing. Murano and Torchello were a little overrated, but Burano was very nice. Would recommend this tour to see more than just Venice itself.

Really liked the idea of seeing 3 islands in 4 hrs. The nice boat was changed to a very small boat after the first island and was hot. The itinerary said 50 min per island but we were given 40 min per each island. It’s was hard to understand the guide through speakerphone on the boat. Murano glass presentation felt very commercial and felt being pushed to buy something. Other than that I think it’s great if you don’t have a lot of time to do it on your own.

The trip was excellent BUT the operator spoiled the day by not returning us to San Marco pier from which they picked us up - they returned us to another pier claiming it was only a short walk to San Marco the only problem was it was pouring rain we were soaked even with rain gear on - a pity

It was really nice to see the differences in each of the islands, their different lines of products and just seeing a completely different way of living. The only thing I didn’t like was that the guide didn’t speak English very well and it was hard to understand her. We would’ve lost a lot mor information if it wasn’t because we speak Spanish and can understand some Italian, we had to “join the dots” a lot

Loved visiting the islands, the glassblowing was amazing! The church on Torcello was beautiful and it was great to have food and drinks available on a warm afternoon. Burano is such a neat village, lots of photo opportunities!

This experience is very rushed I don’t feel like we got to see tha last island We got off the boat and 50 min is just no enough time

I would have LOVED to give this a glowing review…at the first stop, Murano, we were required to attend a demonstration of glass blowing (worth seeing, but the tour in front of us was delayed so that are into our time) and that meant we only had about 20 min on the island. Next stop Torcello - skip it. Everything on this island requires a ticket and there isn’t enough time to experience the ticketed items and make it back to your bought on time. And the WCs were locked and closed. Burano was lovely. The lace shops are beautiful. The village is colorful. Worth visiting. My advice - skip the ‘tour’ and buy a water bus ticket to take yourself directly to Burano, so you can spend the day there.
