Horrible expérience. Émilie was very Nice but she could not handle alone 14 people. We only had 5 stops instead of the promised 8 or more. The food for tasting was poor and not enough. I can not believe we paid 110 euros per person for that. It was a mistake we will not repeat

We were excited about this excursion. About 4 hours before we were supposed to meet , they called and cancelled. Because it was short notice we couldn’t book anything else. They promised to refund our $$. A month later and no refund. We’ve had to open a dispute with our credit card company. Not cool at all.

The company cancelled the tour the evening before it was supposed to happen and never refunded us our money. After numerous texts with assurances from Stephane that the refund is coming, I had to get a refund through the credit card. This company is a scam, stay as far away as possible.

This is a great way to spend an early evening. Zack was our tour guide and thus we were blessed with a historian and food lover rolled into one. He’s a grad student and has a deep knowledge of history, yet no academic dryness that might turn off those who have not the background to appreciate it. Learning about Paris whilst eating and drinking with someone deeply in love with the culture makes it so much better than you could do alone as a stranger here. You must do this tour. Ask for him.

Our tour guide was excellent !! Her parents had a restaurant so she knew all about the cheeses and wines and goodies that we tasted. The pickup and drop off locations were very convenient and we were lucky enough to only have 4 in our group. I think the normal is 6 anyway but that was a real plus. We walked all around the Marias and it was a good introduction to Paris. Be on time as the tour started right on time. We stopped at a great open market for cheese and wine, a chocolate shop, a macaron shop and got a lot of history about the place. It was well worth the money !!

Statt der angegebenen acht Personen, waren elf dabei. Der Guide war nett und sympathisch, aber das, was wir gesehen haben war gar nicht interessant. Das Restaurant in dem wir waren war durchschnittlich und für den sehr hohen Preis gab es quasi nichts. Das preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte einfach überhaupt nicht. In der Gruppe waren außer uns nur Amerikaner, für die Europäische Essgewohnheiten interessant waren, aber die Ankündigung und das was geliefert wurde stimmten überhaupt nicht überein.

Lebensmittelgeschäfte, die sich nur einem einzigen extrem hochwertigen Produkt widmen? Voilà! Geschmackliche Überraschungen? Voila! Alles nur auf einer Tour durch das Marais mit einem hochkompetenten Food-Experten, den man die Leidenschaft für gutes Essen sofort anmerkt. Wir sind begeistert und haben tolle Inspirationen (und noch die eine oder andere Leckerei) mitgenommen.

Een heel aardige en deskundige gids, dat wel, maar de tour was het geld absoluut niet waard. We hebben de lokale markt bezocht, daar wat stukjes kaas geproefd, met een glaasje wijn, daarna wat winkels aangedaan, met o.a. jam, macarons, een croissant op straat gegeten die door de gids al was meegenomen, een paar falafels, in een bistro wat vleeswaren en een paar escargots, met een glas wijn. Sommige winkels zagen we alleen van buitenaf. We begrijpen dat in verband met covid niet alles mogelijk was, maar al met al was dit wel heel erg karig gezien het forse bedrag wat we moesten neertellen.
