We met up with "Paul" - plus another couple and a single young women - behind the park in central Dijjon and were off! Paul jumped into it and gave a rolling history of the region, the small villages outside of Dijon, before stopping atop a hill to learn about the Crus, Grande Crus, and the other wines of Bourgogne. Eventually we stopped at a small winery for a guided tasting. Wine was fine, but obviously not the best of the region. Paul drove us to Beaune, where we had about 90 minutes for lunch, then we were dropped off back at the pick-up. *I'm not usually one for tours like this, but it was a nice half-day.

The whole experience was such a joy. Ivan did a wonderful job of combining the technical side of the process with the simple pleasures of the end product. We wholeheartedly recommend him.

We signed up for the half day tour since we only had a day in Dijon and wanted to experience the Burgundy wine country. We ended up being the only people on the tour so we had a private tour and it was fantastic. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job of mixing in some local history with wine knowledge. We got to go to two different wineries and tour through the wine country. Would definitely recommend if you only have a half day to experience Burgundy!

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Antonin. He was extremely knowledgeable about the region, the grape varieties, the wine and he was very friendly. We learned a lot and tasted some amazing wines. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our afternoon wine tour exceeded our expectations. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and took the time to seek our questions and answer them completely. He increased our understanding of Burgundian wines and their complexities as well as our overall appreciation of wine. We highly recommend the tour to others for a thorough, comfortable, companionable tour of the wines of Burgundy.

We booked this tour at the last minute during our stay in Dijon and were so happy we did! Emmanuel was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and spoke great English. He clearly knows the wines, the region, and the people in the industry very well, which makes for a great tour that can be tailored to your interests. We came in with little knowledge about Burgundy wines and got a great mix of tasting a variety of wines and seeing the vineyards up close. We learned a ton throughout the tour and felt much more knowledge navigating wines lists afterwards. There was no pressure to buy anything, but Emmanuel helped us arrange combined shipping when we decided we wanted to send home bottles from two different stops. After the tasting, he recommended a restaurant, then dropped us off there and made sure we got a table. I highly recommend this tour if you want to taste some great wines and see the vineyards and cellars up close!

Great Experience! Paul was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and enthusiastic about sharing about the wine. The tasting and wine club were both great.

Leoni was the perfect guide for this tour, since she shares our love of wine and was able to add her knowledge of the local area, as she lives in Fixin. She was knowledgeable and professional, but also friendly. When we informed her that we had already visited one of the domaines on her list, she was quick to change the itinerary for us. As a result, we were able to visit Chateau Marsannay, which was the highlight of our trip to Bourgogne. Leoni is someone we could see becoming friends with. As far as the tastings were concerned, Marsannay was the best of the 6 we took part in this time. The staff there welcomed us warmly and made us feel like valued guests. We would be happy to book with Authentica again if all your trips are as wonderful as the one we experienced today. Bravo to you and Leoni. 5 out of 5!!

This was one of the best wine tours that I have been on. We learned so much about wine and how to read the labels on the bottle. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are in Dijon.
