Just spenf an wonderful morning with Lucy. She walked my wife and I around Fowey, showing us not just the key features of the town and surroundinhg area but also highlighting its history and more recent developments. Her lnowledge, insight and clear warm relationship with the town and its residents was obvious and a joy to see and hear. No hesitation in recommending to others.

Lucy our guide was excellent and filled us in on everything we needed to know about Fowey . Also , she mentioned Charlestown to us as being worth a visit which we did today and it was really interesting, so thanks so much for the tip !

Highly recommend the Fowey Walking Tour with Lucy. Lucy is very knowledgeable on the area and makes the tour very interesting. This is the second one I've done and won't hesitate to do a third - may do the longer day ones.

Fascinating tour of Fowey, including many areas that would otherwise have been missed. Lucy was immensely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very keen to share a wealth of historic and cultural information about this beautiful town. We combined this with the lovely Hall Walk along the estuary from Polruan. A perfect way to spend a grey February day.

Lucy is fantastic! Or to use the local lingo, she does a super proper job. She has a wealth of knowledge whether about town history, coastal walks, sea faring, and so forth that she can tap into according to your interests. Once she became aware of my plans, she forewarned me about a ferry operation that could be halted due to inclement weather. It was part of my plan to take the next day on the Roseland Peninsula and I was able to check the next morning and confirm that I needed to go to plan B. Responsive to my questions both before and after my tour. She is the epitome of tour guide service!

We very much enjoyed our tour of Fowey. Lucy took her time with us and had an incredible amount of information to share about Fowey. She always had the answer to any question. It's much more interesting to visit a place when you know the history of it. We recommend you take her tour and learn all about Fowey past and present.

Lovely afternoon in Fowey, guided by Lucy who shared a good historical knowledge of the town. Top tip from Lucy, “look up.” So many interesting facts & features uncovered by just taking time to look beyond the quaint shops & cottages. We have hundreds of photos of Fowey & Polruan taken throughout the decades, so none taken during this tour though one could never get bored of this pretty harbour town. Plenty of local businesses to choose from too so do please support them.

An excellent tour with Lucy. Lucy is highly knowledgeable and good fun. She is clearly committed to the local community and advised on good local restaurants and shops as well as giving us a fabulous historical account of Fowey past and present. I would highly recommend this walking tour.

For over two hours that Lucy and I walked the town she talked the history of Fowey buildings, historic events including pirate sponsorship, French incursions and local industry. She gave a flavour of the Cornish, Celtic independent resilience and attitudes towards devolution. It was more than just a guide of local chronology, more like a couple of hours of absorption and engagement with this beautiful port town.
