I enjoyed our half day “highlights” tours of Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. Our guide, Jakob, was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and interesting. He was able to bridge the past and present in his explanations of these proud institutions.

This booking was an unmitigated disaster. I arrived with my family on time for the “Parliament only” tour booked at a cost of over $231. The instructions on the app as to meeting location and details were vague. Nevertheless we arrived at the address indicated 15 minutes before the 11:30 start time. No one was there from Viator or Amigo, the local operator. We asked everyone who looked official; no one could help. After striking out at Westminster Abbey it was suggested we go to Parliament - we did. We were denied entrance there as well and sent back to the front of Westminster Abbey. Still no one was there with any information. I used the app help function to text for help three times. No response, even now a day and a half later. I called several numbers. No answer. We searched the web on our phones for help. None. There was ZERO assistance of any sort after more than an hour. We left, stranded and demoralized, knowing also that there is no other day or time available to get into Parliament. One official we spoke to, who looked at our booking info on our app said, “It’s just an app. Not a real company.” And so it is. What a scam you run. It looks all pretty and inviting on the screen, but there’s no there there. You must be owned by some faceless private equity outfit. I contacted American Express — through which I paid, and which has real people to speak with — and had them deny payment to you. Never again.

This “tour” was an unmitigated disaster. No one showed to greet us at the designated location. The app details were unhelpful. We walked round and round for an hour looking for a guide or help. None. We texted and called repeatedly. Nothing. (I have screenshots.) We explored every option to reach a live person. No one. One day later, and there is still no acknowledgement of the failure. Only American Express could help - we challenged the $231 charge. Viator- never, ever again.

Jane was the best hostess! She was recognized throughout the tour by her colleagues and was so knowledgeable. She shared so much and made our tour very interesting.

Jane our guide was great. She was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of good history and facts about both the Abbey and Parliament. We enjoyed it.

For the Westminter Abbey Tour, our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and engaging. We had previously visited the Abbey, but were enthralled with the level of knowledge our guide displayed. Well worth doing. The added optional tour of the Houses of Parliament is somewhat misleading as this is a self guided tour of the houses, which the guide does not accompany you on.

The guide was very good, most informative she explained everything that would happen once we got to the houses of Parliament, the tour itself was very good, great too see the commons & the Lords where democracy happens.

Was not informed of parliament being closed until morning of four- organizer attempted ti offer a 25$ refund for each person when over half the tour was either not provided in the slightest and they just tried to refund me the seeming value of the entry ticket to parliament when our tour only included Westminster abbey
