We were given this tour as a gift as we have a keen and active interest in archaeology. Rossa was an excellent guide with an extensive depth of knowledge and experience, combined with a clear and engaging way of explaining historical information. The museum was busy but Rossa was easy to follow given his height and physical presence! The content was well structured and we would have no hesitation in recommending this to others.

This tour was a wonderful way for people to get an informative, entertaining introduction to archeology and ancient history. Rossa, who conceived and leads the tour, is a great story teller ! He managed to make various periods of complex history and archeological discovery accessible for history buffs like me. I might add that I am a tour guide myself, at the Louvre, and I do not know that many tour guides who are as passionate and knowledgeable as Rossa ! Best of luck to him,

Very interesting tour! I learned a lot, and our guide was a good storyteller. The only thing I didn't like was how long we would stay standing up in one place to listen; my feet hurt and I would have liked to see more pieces.

Absolutely wonderful to have Rossa's knowledge and enthusiasm to accompany us around the British Museum. The time flew by as he is a skilled and engaging storyteller, who is able to make the lives of our ancient forbears seem so warmly human and somehow familiar. The museum is so extensively packed with treasures of all kinds that it would simply have been too overwhelming to properly engage without Rossa’s contribution to our day. Thanks for a great one!

Very interesting tour of the British Museum collections seen through the history of archeology. Rossa is an amazing guide. Particularly enjoyed the additional information about the archeologist that worked on the items.

Our tour guide was an absolute expert and brought the subjects to life. There were 11 in our group and he kept us all interested for over 5 hours!

Very knowledgeable guide and great story teller. More depth than breath as it focuses more on the most important items in the museum and the historical context rather than giving short descriptions of as many items as possible.

Absolutely excellent guide - I can't remember the last time (if ever) that I left a review for something, I'm usually too lazy after the fact (guilty as charged), but I felt Rossa deserved a shout-out. As a massive history nerd, his presentation of historical epochs and civilisations on display at the museum was absolutely astonishing. I learnt a lot, and he had myriad interesting anecdotes to share and was clearly very educated on the subject. Can wholeheartedly recommend, it makes the museum 1000% more interesting. Rossa, if you read this, please organise a tour of the other parts of the museum! I would love a tour from you on China / Japan / Korea, Rome, the Americas, Africa, etc.

It was very informative. We were given a wide chronological introduction to archaeology, showing man in the world from our earliest times, using many of the Museums artefacts, in various of the museums rooms. It was also very enjoyable.

On this tour, we heard awesome stories and comprehensive explanations about some highlights of the British Museum.
