Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.

Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.

Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.

The number one reason for doing this helitour was to create a life experience for and with our family, especially our grandson. Based on the feedback after the event, mission accomplished. A welcome bonus was hearing insight into what we were seeing. The pilot was knowledgeable, professional and frequently checked his passengers for how they were doing. The aircraft was clean and mechanically sound. We would do it again. As an aside, due to the somewhat close quarters seating, we would not be interested in a shared ride. Buying empty seats is worth every penny.

Wow! This copter ride was amazing! The back side of Haleakala has so many waterfalls, canyons, and old cinder cones, it is really otherworldly. And the pilot was fun and friendly, and very professional. We would recommend this experience to anyone!

We took a helicopter ride over Molokai. The waterfalls were amazing. We saw a complete circle rainbow and a double rainbow. The pilot (Vince) showed us so much, turned so everyone could see and played great music.

We were disappointed that our scheduled flight got switched when we arrived at the terminal. We were scheduled to do the crater tour, but were told that it was too cloudy and instead were offered the Moloki tour. It became apparent that the reason we got switched had nothing to do with clouds, but instead there was another couple scheduled for the Moloki tour at the same time as OUR crater tour, so the operator simply wanted all of us on one trip to save THEM costs, etc.....very disappointing.
