The tour was very informative and we learned a lot. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke very clear English. We had two young children who also enjoyed it, as it was very family friendly. The carriage ride was a great way to see the city and dropped off at a very convenient location to continue our exploration of Vienna. Note that the carriage accommodated a small stroller very easily.

We loved meeting at the stables to see how well these beautiful horses are cared for and chatting with our wonderful driver who was so friendly. The sound of hooves on the cobblestones was memorable. Thanks for a great experience!

What a fantastic opportunity to travel around this beautiful city. The weather was warm enough for the roof to be down which meant we had some spectacular views. Although it’s not the cheapest option, it’s well worth it for a memorable trip.

The ride itself but also the introductory talk at the stable guide answered my questions. It was good to get in close to some of the horses at the stable., and they liked cuddles!

Had an enjoyable morning finding out a bit more of the history surrounding Viennese Flakers. It was also great to hear how the horses are cared for and and trained. The stables were well kept. Information was given in German and then English so it took a bit longer but gave my daughter an opportunity to practice her German listening skills. I could have just got a horse and carriage ride around the city but starting off at the stables first just made it even more special. Would definitely recommend to anyone with children too.

We had the most amazing and informative tour of the stables followed by a carriage ride through to the centre of Vienna. It was very relaxed, the horses were incredibly calm and to our surprise, looking over one stable door, we saw 2 Shetland ponies, coming from Orkney, we really hadn't expected that in Vienna! I would recommend to anyone taking the time to do the stable tour and find out a little of the history of carriage driving in Vienna and also the fantastic way the horses are treated and cared for. The ride through to the centre of Vienna was marvellous, it is the best way to view this beautiful city and the horses and driver were brilliant. With many thanks to all involved on that day.

The young man who gave the talk in both German and fluent English was really interesting and he welcomed questions, and as a lifelong horse lover I was fascinated. It was followed by an enjoyable drive back to the city centre. One of our fellow passengers conversed with our driver and kindly translated for us. The horses are very obviously very well cared for and certainly not overworked.

Interesting way to find out how the horse drawn carriages operate. You are met at the stables and shown how the carriages are assembled and the horses fitted with harnesses. We also got some history on the creation of the carriages, how many horses are involved, and what the various staff do. Once the carriages and horses are sorted out guests are loaded and then driven from the stables into the city. This takes about an hour and give a good idea what outer Vienna looks like. Good value for money. Tour ran in German and English on our day

An excellent experience. Everything was well presented and the horses are taken good care of. Would recommend it to all.

The whole tour at the stables were excellent. However our horse carriage guide did not show us or tell us anything on the way to our drop off which was supposed to be a guided tour. As soon as he dropped us, he picked up another set of passengers and straight away started talking.
