Your Itinerary

Mooloolaba Beach

(Pass by)

Recently voted the number sixth best beach in Australia by Tripadvisor, Mooloolaba Beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast.

Point Cartwright

(Pass by)

Flanked on one side by the ocean and the Mooloolah River on the other, Point Cartwright is a stunning beach, located at the base of the headland at the northern end of Kawana Beach. See the iconic Point Cartwright lighthouse and ocean themed mural-painted reservoir.

Alexandra Headland Beach

(Pass by)

Alexandra Headland has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere that complements the soothing rolling surf and inviting beaches. Alexandra Headland's main attraction is its magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland and parks extending for kilometres north and south.

Mudjimba beach

(Pass by)

Old Woman Island (or Mudjimba Island) is located 1km off the coast. There are a number of Aboriginal legends abound about the Island. One has it, the Island was the result of an epic battle between two men, Coolum and Ninderry, and a woman called Maroochy. The end result was that Coolum's head was knocked off and ended up in the ocean, creating Mudjimba Island. Mount Coolum, seven kilometers to the north, is now flat topped due to the lack of a head! There are various other legends involving Aboriginal women living on the island until old age, hence the "Old Woman" name.

If you're on a cruise ship, do not book this tour. This port often has difficult weather, making the docking or tendering process difficult. We were unable to stop at this port and this tour company did not refund us our money, despite the fact that the cruise ship could not stop. There is only one way to stop unethical companies, and that is not to do business with them.

These guys were amazing. Our kids loved the adrenaline of the speed boat on the way out and I was in love with yhe 3 calves breaching and the adult whales putting on a show. Our tour guides humour made the trip enjoyable from start to finish! Definitely recommend.

Such a cool experience! The staff were super knowledgeable, answered questions and found so many amazing whales to see! We saw multiple pods of 3 and a huge pod of 8 or so males! Even a turtle which I was stoked with! Totally recommend! Would 100% do it again!

Mike & Mandy from the uk We had an amazing whale watching trip, with the added bonus of no sea sickness at all !!! Due to the speed of the boat. 👍

Another awesome day on the water watching these majestic gentle giants at play. This is a must do while on the Sunshine Coast!!! We are locals and are repeat customers of Adventure Rafting … they are a great crew and lots of fun! Kudos to Brendon … he is usually our Skipper and has a wicked sense of humour as well as great knowledge of the local area.

We went on the whale watching cruise and found the captain Zoe to be very knowledgeable and also considerate of the whales. We saw a couple of whales but as they didn’t want to get close to the boat she left them alone to look for some others. Although we didn’t find any others I was happy that she respected them and didn’t annoy them. An enjoyable experience. Ian & Adel

Brilliant hour spent on the water! Knowledgeable guide/skipper and the ride itself was just fantastic! Exhilarating and plenty of adrenaline rushes! We had booked for a particular date but had to change it due to travelling sooner than expected and the staff were so accommodating and made it happen for us. We were so thrilled. Would highly recommend! Just be aware that the jumps can be quite jarring on your back/knees :)

The guides were relentless in making sure we got to see whales! They scoped out all possible locations until we got to see a beautiful whale and their baby swimming. The boat driver was very skilled and this was my first experience where the water was so choppy but I didn’t get sea sick. Well done! Highly recommend them to others

What a lovely surprise after I got off the plane from Melbourne which the company and other guests were willing to wait an extra 5 mins for us to arrive which was fantastic. Although I wasn't dressed appropriately with a skirt on it was fine and straddled the seat without a problem. Loved the informative and funny info on the area and the whales from Brendan and felt safe at all times. We saw heaps and the photo's don't do it justice unfortunately but I can take that off my bucket list now-Thanks and my next surprise was Secrets on the lake and our waitress got her husband over to talk him into taking her the next week for her birthday so hopefully you got more business as we highly recommended you-Thanks again!
