Enjoy the 15-minute cruise on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel over to Bruny Island, then travel by air-conditioned minivan to the narrow spit called The Neck connecting the north and south parts of the island, passing oyster farms and grazing properties en route. Bruny Island Safaris will show you all the highlights on Bruny Island. This is a fully inclusive tour. The best food producers, sights and attractions. Our local guides will pick you up in Hobart at approximately 7 am and return around 5:30 pm.

Bruny Islands best oysters are found here. Let us buy a few dozen oysters and we will share these on the beach together for morning tea. Later in the day if you would like to take some home we will drop back in for you.

Let's visit the Bruny Island Honey farm. Taste an incredible array of different Tasmanian Honey's, watch the bees at work through the viewing window and take some honey with you.

We will stop in at the Cheese Company in the morning and buy a few kinds of cheese for you to have for morning tea. We will set up on a nice beach in Adventure Bay and serve you up a feast of cheese, oysters and wood oven bread. later in the day we stop back at the Cheese Company for you to take some home.

We had a fanTAStic day exploring Bruny Island with Grant. Beauty at every turn accompanied by delicious food including fresh oysters, cheese, chocolate and honey. Grant was extremely knowledgeable and there were plenty of opportunities to explore and take photos. A definite must do tour when visiting Hobart!

WE HAD THE BEST DAY ON TOUR! We went to so many beautiful spots on the island, and were provided with an abundance of information. The oysters were delicious, as was the cheese. My trip highlight was enjoying these just off the beach at Two Tree Point. The included lighthouse tour was spectacular. The isthmus stop was breathtaking. I had asked in advance if we could visit the Bruny Baker’s Bread Fridge and I got to purchase a loaf that was STILL WARM! Thank you for an unforgettable day!

We indulged in Bruny oysters and a fine selection of award winning cheeses by a pristine beach, tried a delicious array of Bruny honey and taste tested Fudges and chocolates. If that is not enough for you, then getting a free lunch at the most amazingly situated Bruny Hotel will definitely keep you from being hungry.
We went up to the Truganini lookout at The Neck. We spotted a white wallaby thanks to our guide’s local knowledge. We climbed the beautiful lighthouse and enjoyed the amazing coastal views with our fabulous guide Jeanette, who made the experience educational and most pleasant for this visitor (who has a thing about heights).
Rick was such a wonderful guide. We felt so lucky to have been on his tour. His great sense of humor and incredible local knowledge made our trip very enjoyable.
This tour was worth every cent. We even got to see a little more of the surrounding suburbs of Hobart and got to walk around on the ferry.
We loved every part of this tour.
