It was a great way to see this part of the country. Mattia, our driver and guide was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this company. Communication was prompt and professional.

There’s a lot to see and do on this one day tour. Our guide Matheo was friendly and knowledgeable. We walked Trepena Gorge, saw several beautiful waterholes and visited Artlunga gold fields with plenty of time to walk around and discover. A really enjoyable day, comfortable vehicle and lovely food. A great value day.

Fantastic day spent in the East MacDonnell ranges exploring many of the hidden natural, indigenous and historical gems of the area. Our guide Matteo was excellent with his knowledge and local knowledge and all round fun spirit. We would strongly recommend this tour. The best tour we did in the region.

We would strongly recommend this tour for anyone that would like to see a part of the ranges that few go to see without 4WD access. Outback Elite Tours provided a really great personal service, with Fillipo as our guide through the hauntingly beautiful East Macdonnell ranges. It was all the more appreciated without the hustle and bustle of a larger tour group, with greater appreciation of the isolation of this place. The silence and the vastness of this place will hit you as you walk over and through the jagged landscape of the Trephina gorge, as you visit still rockpools hidden away beyond rock strewn dirt roads, as you walk amongst the broken remnants of a failed mining town, and many more incredible locations. All the while with the East Macdonnells looming over you, silent sentinels to your fleeting presence; as if to say “ we were here for aeons, and will be here for aeons more”. Our only regret was not eating that last rock cake carefully home baked by Fillipo for our tea breaks. Thank you again for your personable, professional and careful guidance through this incredible place. Words are not enough to say how highly we would recommend this private tour with Outback Elite Tours.

It all started with the friendly and informative booking process with Filippo, who advised us to choose the most suitable one day tour. Our experienced guide Suzanne took us around the East MacDonnell Ranges, which was a fantastic experience. She immediately sensed what knowledge base we already had and built her expert comments on it. While driving trough ragged terrain nothing escaped her attention. She even spotted a majestic wedge tailed eagle perching on a nearby tree. For me, an avid photographer, that was the icing on the cake. The catering was also unique and the food was plenty. Thank you Suzanne and Filippo for the great day you arranged for us.

Second tour with Ryan as our guide although it seemed more like a day out with a mate. With Ryan’s knowledge and expert driving we had another fantastic day. The East Macs seem to be underrated because of this we were the only people around making it more special. The old gold mining town was so interesting got a real feel for how it must have been. Great terrain and outback experience. You won’t go hungry plenty to eat all day. Our only regret is we never allowed enough time in Alice would have done more tours with Outback Elite.
