A wonderful tour with the most generous guide Aaron. He shared his knowledge and in depth understanding of this special place in the most heartfelt and engaging tour we have done as a family. Our 14 yr old son throughly enjoyed the day .

We had the most stunning and wonderful time with tour guide - and First Nations Traditional Owner - Aaron. His knowledge was phenomenal, his willingness to share the First Nations and Traditional Owners culture was truly heart felt and generous. We inhaled the juice of the green ants and ate one to ease our blocked noses, tasted the original paracetamol - from the bark of a tree, felt the warmth of the bean that generates heat to relieve muscle aches and pains, and ended our tour feeling the strength a of Aarons connection to this truly stunning and spiritual part of the world. Our teenage son was very engage as Aaron made a social point of inuring he was entertained and part of the tour. our travel companions were tourists from Germany - who seemed genuinely moved by their experience. Thank Aaron!!!

We were lucky to have Juan to ourselves and he really took care of us. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Loved hearing about the traditions, languages and history. A very hands on experience .walking through the mangroves and swimming in a crystal clear gorge were the highlights, although all of it was so interesting and Juan’s knowledge and passion for the indigenous people shines through. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Cherry on the cake is his mum’s authentic damper and muffins. Do it, you won’t regret it !

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tourguide Juan who explained and also tought a lot not only about plants and animals of the area and the history of indigenous people and his own family, but also to the recent and earlier history of the area

Our guide told us a lot about animals, plants etc. He was very committed to show us many different places. He was very friendly and funny. He came from the area and learned everything from childhood. We got home baked bread and muffins. It was a fantastic morning. We were with a group of 11 and we had all chance to ask questions. The guide also told us a lot about indigenous culture. It was the best tour ever.

Had a great experience with Juan. Learnt so much about culture and local customs. Really enjoyed the food and explanations as we walked the beach and the rainforest. As much as Juan helped I really need to practice may spear throwing. There were down pours of rain but we wanted to eep going, Juan made the adventure very enjoyable.

We spent a half day with Juan - and there were periods of POURING rain - that's when you can tell a really good guide from an average one. We really enjoyed our time hiking (with umbrellas) and trying local fruits and locally-grown produce from the market. We learned a lot about a new culture!

The whole experience was incredible! My partner and I throughly enjoyed the half day Walkabout up to Cape Tribulation! Aaron had great knowledge and heaps of energy which made the day really fun and it was the most we had learnt in a long time. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to learn about Aboriginal culture and the landscape of the Daintree! Worth every dollar.
