Your Itinerary

AC/DC Lane Graffiti

(Pass by)

Music legends dominate the walls of AC/DC Lane, which was named for the band in 2004 and is home to iconic music venue Cherry Bar. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

Meyers Place Bar

(Pass by)

Originally known as Nicholas Lane, Meyers Place connects Little Collins and Bourke up at the top end of town. Selected as one of the pilot projects for the city's new Green Your Laneways campaign, the laneway's grey walls have been brought to life by green galleries, including a giant Mike Makatron mural, 'Jungle Funk'. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

Coles Fountain

(Pass by)

Sited in Parliament Gardens, Coles Fountain is a striking counterpoint to its historical garden setting. Its stainless-steel tubing forms a geometrical frame some three metres high, from which water cascades into a shallow pool below. To 'enter' the C-shaped fountain is to be virtually encircled by a curtain of water. It is set on finished bluestone paving, which reflects the geometry of the fountain. The plaque reads: 'A gift to the people of Victoria from G.J. Coles and Coy Limited'. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

Keith Haring Mural

(Pass by)

The Collingwood mural is now one of only 31 known murals across the world by Haring that have survived, and one of only three that hasn’t been significantly over-painted. In recognition of its local, national and international significance, it was added to the Victorian Heritage Register in 2004. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

Royal Exhibition Building

(Pass by)

Entitled “Never Enough”, the mural of RONE delivers one of his signature portraits combined with text that was painted by Wonderlust. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

Didn't finish it was hard to keep up. The third one had a different answer than what was in the clue. Pick a cool day.

A fun way to explore more of Melbourne, away from ‘tourist’ areas. The instructions are easy to follow and the challenges doable. We also learnt a lot about street art and artists.
