I had an absolute ball doing the White Water Kayaking! I was super nervous thinking I would not be able to do it! I didn't need to be! great guide and totally cool for beginners and the more experienced! I had no idea this existed so I am glad I found it! I will do it again! Don't think, just book! Paul thank you for a wonderful morning!

Paul's confidence that we could to do it paid off. Novices negotiated the bumps of the Yarra and everyone made it back into the raft after a swim. It was an excellent way to spend a morning.

My partner and I had a great time Kayaking, the rapids are well spaced out, so you have time to admire the scenery and the wildlife in between the 'faster' sections of the river - we saw a snake crossing the river, and a wombat on the bank! Paul was a great guide and made sure that everyone felt confident and comfortable with the experience :) Great day out!!

Paul made everyone feel right at home from the get go. Helping those who had never been in a kayak before, soaking those who were trying to get him and making the whole experience fantastic. I'd highly recommend booking with the Adventure Merchants and I'll be back just as soon as the river boarding is running!

We had a unique and totally fun time. Navigating the S bends, dodging the branches and Kayaking under the Eucalyptus tree crossing the Yarra were just a few interesting and challenging features for the day. Resting for a moment in a quiet part of the Yarra we were lucky enough to see a wombat emerge from behind a bush at the waters edge to climb effortlessly up the embankment. Then to complete the day some jumped in to enjoy the true beauty of the Yarra River. Calming - Water!!! Our Guides (Kate and Paul (I hope I have that right)) were fabulous, always looking out for us and there when we needed them.

Paul & Kate were fabulous! They looked after us well and guided us along the way. Clear instructions on where we have to go when going down a rapid. It was so peaceful at the start while we get the hang of paddling, and built up the excitement as we went along the Yarra faster, down the rapids, and even swam in the Yarra (thanks to Paul splashing water at us and encouraged us to jump in!). actual time in the kayak was probably 2 hours and a bit, before and after were to get ready, and walk back to the car, etc. We had a family of 4 in our group, and few other couples. 2 in each Kayak. Thanks for the fun Saturday!
