Great tour, very funny tour-guide called Kenny! He seemed to enjoy his work a lot; fun facts but also educational facts were provided ✨ We had a very good time despite of the cold evening weather. It is really a free tour, no tourist scam. You are always welcomed to tip the guide at the end of the tour. And believe me they deserve it!

Great tour guide! Ghent is a charming city with an interesting history. Definitely beautiful at night. Our guide told us all about Ghent's dark history.

Tammy_B

We enjoy taking dark tours of towns with great histories - London, Bath, Washington DC, etc. This was the most flat boring experience, it was like watching a school child unprepared for homework or a class presentation. It was not the darker side of history, it was simply at night. The price was RIDICULOUS ($175 for two people).

A brilliant tour!! Our guide Debra highlighted the macabre stories of Ghent and brought them to life in an entertaining way as we toured popular sites and visited hidden places away from the crowds. Her knowledge of history as a local was exceptional and she gave my wife and I one of the best private tours we've ever had. This tour is highly recommended if you want to get beyond what you can find in traditional history and guide books. A stellar tour with an amazing guide!!!
