This was an okay tour. Apparently all the brewhouses are closed on Monday, which they fail to tell you until you meet for the tour. If you attend on another day outside of Monday, I think you would get a much better experience. I feel compared to others I was more cheated in getting a lesser experience for the same price. If I had known, I wouldn't have booked it at all.

Wonderful tour! Moritz was a fantastic guide who was both informative and fun. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to learn about the history of Altbier in Düsseldorf. It was a great way to try a variety of different Altbier to find a favorite. Definitely well worth the price.

My 20yr old daughter and I joined a German speaking group, our choice as I speak a little and she is studying German as part of degree, friendly group who where patient as guide helped translate what my daughter couldn’t,during the guides translating for us he said … I’m finding it difficult to concentrate … indicating my daughters cleavage! I said excuse me that’s my daughter you are taking about, his answer, yes you should be proud… Awkward inappropriate , in-front of everyone…. It spoilt a great tour, I felt like throwing the beer in his face… take your eyes up and look at the face and listen to the person…

Very large group, difficult to hear the guide and the beers were very similar, not something to repeat. Smaller groups would be better.

The tour was very great. Nice information and nice ambiance. Only disadvantage: at one point I couldnt really concentrate because I was getting horny from the tourguide ;)

We had a great time with Andy, our tour guide. It was a very mixed group with couples, 2 groups of friend and a bachalorette party. Also various ages. Andy mixed up English and German so everyone could understand. He told us a lot about the history of the city and the breweries. We tasted several different alt beers. Ending with the most bitter one. It was great fun.
