Our guide, Jane was super knowledgeable and could tell us all about the different plants and geography of the bog lakes. Rooms were a little small for our work purpose but nevertheless it was very cozy and the gardens were great.

Pick up early morning at hotel. Self guided canoa trip for 11 km. Then, a long walk in the national park. Drop off at hotel again. A very nice experience and the company is just great.

Lovely canoe trip through a bucolic river. We walked to the bog beforehand and would recommend doing both as the river doesn't take you through the bog.

Great 20km paddle in the backwaters of Sonoma. Hardly saw a person or civilisation. Make sure you bring plenty of drinks and snacks.

It was a really beautiful trip, by canoe was a great way to experience the surrounding forest. Since coming back I’ve been recommending to everyone this national park and if you go, you should definitely go canoeing! Staff also very friendly and easy going.

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time in the National Park! We had Aivar as our guide who was patient and kind. He gave us clear instructions to use the canoe too since we're total beginners. He picked us up from our airbnb in Parnu (costs a lil bit more). The experience was gold and was worth the money we spent!

Had a lovely afternoon canoeing and walking in Soomaa National Park. Staff were so kind and helpful. We managed to book through Soomaa.com - found this was the easiest way. Beautiful area to explore.

My wife and I rented a canoe from Soomaa.com which worked out great. The woman at the Soomaa Tourist Information Center put us in contact with them. We rented it for about an hour and the price was very reasonable. The guy who helped us was very helpful and interesting. It provided a great break from hiking and was very enjoyable.

The self-guided canoe trip was great and we would recommend to everyone! It is a great way to experience Soomaa national park, beautiful scenery along the river and there are great walking trails (and a nice picnic spot) along the route where there are ponds for a quick swim to keep refreshed. Aivar was also super helpful and collected us from Pärnu town at 9am (call the day before) and dropped us back that evening - there was also time for a swim at the end of the route. Definitely the most convenient way to see Soomaa without a car that we found.
