The only interesting part of this trip was the last hour of walking around the small city of Guatape. The tour company did their best to make the tour interesting with stops to taste food, but the rock was not interesting and the lake trip was totally uninteresting. There are many better things to see in Medellin.

We had an amazing day seeing the sights by land and water. Really enjoyed climbing to the top of the stairs. The food on this tour was great too. Bonus: We made friends from around the world. I have to shout out our tour guide, John ("not Juan"). He did an amazing job leading the tour in both Spanish and English - his English was excellent. He took great care of us especially when I started to feel sick so I am personally grateful for his care. Our driver was excellent navigating the traffic with ease.

The cancellation policy is brutal and 100% if anything changes within 24hrs. I would love to rebook, but just in case something else happens on this trip I don’t want to lose another 96bucks.

This is a tour packed with a lot for one day. Numerous food tasting stops, penol stair climb, Guatape boat ride, etc. Very good value for the trip and excellent guide. John(not juan) was an excellent guide and Pedro was great behind the steering wheel. Would recommend this to anyone but DO NOT RETURN LATE at the stops. They will leave you and I appreciate that.

Took ~10 hours and was a great experience! John (tour guide) and Pedro (driver) were very friendly and helpful. John spoke fluent English which was helpful for us Americans and we got to experience so many different foods and places we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to in a timely manner! The lunch on the boat was very lovely.

Maybe over-ambitious in the idea of combining all these activities into one day, but I'm not sure which one I'd leave out? Keep in mind, we did this during high season, on a weekend when there is a ton more traffic - AND there was a lengthy delay of a traffic accident (not us, just stuck on one-way road while it was cleared). This is not the fault of the tour people, just keep this in mind. We got back at 9:15 p.m. Our tour guide was great, the food tastings were fun, the rock is extremely busy and Guatape is the cutest. Boat ride was nice change of pace and pretty. Would've liked to learn more about the food, the dam, etc. We were on schedule until the traffic accident - food was always ready for us when we arrived so the tour is well-organized but you are all at the mercy of the other guests on the bus - some rude people on our tour decided to return 30 minutes after the meeting time at the rock so that was another delay. Again, the tour people cannot help this from happening. Overall, happy we went and satisfied with the tour - but might consider a different or smaller group if I were to do this again.

This tour has been by far the highlight of my trip to Medellin. The guide was so thorough, knowledgeable and funny, the driver Pedro was also extremely nice, both made our trip 100% more enjoyable. The food is without a doubt the best part of the trip, not only do you get to savor local delicious food but get to meet the people behind it and there is no better way to experience culture than combining this too. It was well worth it, we were a group of 10 and we all had a blast from beginning to end. Book this tour it will not disappoint!
