Celebrating a Confirmation is an important part of the religion and provides an opportunity to practise faith and create a closer bond with the church. Look for a party venue in matching the style of the audience, the impression you are looking to give, and a location not too far from the religious venue. If distance is too far, transportation from each venue could be an option. Some party venues will have many facilities already in place - such as tables and chairs - but feel free to discuss renting your own should you feel the need. Perhaps you can just focus on the fun elements like decorations, photobooths, chocolate fountains and entertainment - and leave the rest to the party venue.

Catering needs will depend on the number of guests invited and the duration. Canapes are a great way of keeping people entertained whilst the main event is being put together. For larger groups a buffet may be the best option to ensure all guests are feed on schedule. But a sit down is perfect for more intimate celebrations and set menus provided. Mobile bars are a great solution should the venue not come equipped for serving drinks, and catering staff can be hired to serve your guests.

Consider what sound system is available at the party venue, and whether you need to rent one. Any DJs or live musicians booked will want to know the set up before the event - and you should think about the style of music matching the attendees best. These celebrations are very child focused so think about how you will keep the children entertained. Perhaps balloonists, clowns, a bouncy castle or some magic?
