We took the christmas lights tour on 12/3 and our guide was Emmci (sp?), the granddaughter of the model for the sculpture outside the front of Selfridges, our tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable which makes sense since she'd been doing it for 20+ years. The weather was pretty bad that night, so we were very glad we managed to sneak just under the covered portion of the upper deck of the bus. The lights and guide were worth it!

Seeing the lights was wonderful, but the tour guide left a lot to be desired. She was new, so hopefully she improved quickly. Also, we could barely hear her.

We did the tour on the 30th of December! We booked tickets for the bustour at 7:30pm but we were there earlier and we were able to join the group from 7pm already! Our guide was George and he knew a lot about the city and it’s history! He was really well prepared and told us upfront what to expect! Our busdriver was Phillip and he drove the bus like a legend! Everything went very smooth and we had a great bustrip! I know a lot more about London now and my girlfriend was able to take a lot of amazing photos from the beautiful lights! I would really recommend this trip!

The windows of the bus were filthy, taking photos near impossible. There were 2 families sitting with us downstairs and the children were jumping up and down, walking throughout the bus. The parents of the children were talking amongst themselves and we could hardly hear a word the tour guide was saying. The father of one of the children actually broke wind in an already very hot bus.

Paulie - our guide was an absolute legend, even with cold weather, many nationalities and a slightly insufficient PA system. The tour was great, but perhaps the lights didn't quite impress as much as we expected.. Go Paulie!
