When purchasing the tickets you are not told that you will have a giant obstruction in your way. We sat under the balcony in the very back. I paid a bit more then I wanted to but thought these were good seats as there were no warnings. Unfortunately the overhang obstructed the view of the stage. I am quite tall so it was a bit more obvious for me. Wish I would have had more warning.

Fantastic musical! Had a standing ovation! Perfect seats. Staff at every corner were incredibly helpful and accommodating

Went with family to this fantastic production; in the beautiful historic, Theatre Royal. Our family group were seated in the balcony; there were booster cushions provided for the smaller members of our party, which gave them a perfect view of the stage. I think I am one of the very few people who hasn’t seen the Disney movie, I was not disappointed. The cast; singing, stage sets and special effects were great. The ‘Let it go’ song and the dress change was brilliant and enjoyed by all. A great, enjoyable show for the whole family to enjoy.

If you’re an adult looking for a Christmassy movie with fabulous special effects, you’ll probably enjoy this. If you’re a parent who loved the movie and is taking young children to see this, you may be sad disappointed, and uncomfortable. An innocent story of female bonding and female empowerment has been turned into something quite different. Why are there lyrics about drinking alcohol being good? Why have classic songs been dropped but horrible new songs added, for example Elsa singing with self-loathing “I’m a monster” (I don’t remember self hate in the film?) and worse, a load of random people in nude coloured bodysuits spanking each other with twigs? When my child asked what they were doing to each other I did not know what to say. In my opinion this was a horrible and misogynistic sexualised adaptation of a great children’s story. :(

it was so cool and amazing and five out of five stars and I had a really bad stomachache but it was worth it

Great show and theatre. The production was top as you would expect and the whole family loved it. We sat in the stalls 3 rows from the front and even out little 5 year old could see everything.

Went with my sister. NO KIDS! This show is not a kids show. People keep reviewing that it’s a children’s show, it’s not! It’s for anyone. I don’t mind at all that there were kids there. I do agree that under 4 should not be permitted. It can get very loud and lots of bangs and flashing lights may scare a young child. It clearly says when booking not for under 4 year olds. Now to the show. It’s superb. I loved the movie frozen and I loved the musical. Anna was the star for me. However, all the cast were great. Special effects were amazing. If I had to say one “weird” thing about the show it’s that I found it a bit random the scene where the majority of the cast “appear” to be naked. Obviously they’re not naked and it’s a costume. But it’s just odd. Not sure how it fits in at all with the story. I was not offended or bothered at all about it but other reviews have stated how it’s completely inappropriate. That’s their opinion but I don’t think it’s an issue just a bit random. Overall. Very good. Worth the money.

Terrific production! We didn’t love where our seats were but the production was 5 star! Great cast & mechanics!

Nicola_H

The seats were absolutely terrible. There were seats available in the middle and we were given the worst seats in the area where we could only see 2/3rds of the stage.

April_T

The whole family enjoyed ourselves. The kids were a little disappointed that they were not able to sing along.
