My family and I loved this tour! We had a great tour guide and the experience was both informational and fun. I would recommend this to anyone!

Just wanted to share how awesome my day was on this tour. Seriously, it was the perfect mix of cool sights and good vibes. I lived in London a decade ago, but my husband has never been and this was so perfect for us! First up, Westminster Abbey. This place is a masterpiece! The guide gave us the lowdown on all the fancy tombs and memorials. I felt a bit like a time traveler – so much history in one place. It was insanely gorgeous and how the guide knew so much history, I'll never know! The River Boat Ride on the Thames was just the chill break we needed. Cruising along, seeing London from the water – it was like a postcard come to life. Last Stop, the Tower of London – history buffs, you're in for a treat! Our guide was like a history rockstar, making all the stories about kings, queens, and the Crown Jewels way more interesting than any history class. I am obsessed with royal history and there were nuggets of information my guide provided me that I never knew. Big shoutout to The Tour Guy for making everything flow smoothly. The guides were friendly and made sure we had a blast. If you're in London and want a day packed with fun and iconic spots, this tour is definitely the way to go. I can't recommend it enough!

This was a really cool way to learn more about the deep, and sometimes dark history of England. I highly recommend this tour!

I wish I could remember the morning guide's name. He didn't actually introduce himself, his colleague who was running another group for this same company apologized profusely for our guide being late and I believe he said his name was Francois (but not totally sure). The actual guide didn't apologize nor offer any reason he was 15 minutes late (date was Friday, November 24). The guide was rude, short, and when questions were asked he had a short and curt "I don't know." Afterwards, he talked to a few people about taking them to a place where they could eat before the next tour, which I thought he was talking to everyone on the tour. We followed, thinking we could go to, only for him to turn around and say directly to my face "this isn't part of the tour, you can't come eat with us." When I asked for recommendations to eat he just said "look it up on your phone." He was very polite to the white guests, wonder why he was so rude to two brown tourists. Just a terrible experience with that tour guide. Also, we never got anywhere close to Buckingham Palace, we saw it from a distance as by the time we got to the changing of the Guards it was way too full. The afternoon guide was much nicer and he was knowledgeable about the Tower of London. However, the river ride is just an uber boat ride which we waited to board just like you would if you had bought it directly yourself. There's really not enough offered for the cost of this tour and I would not use this company again for any tour.

There were some aspects of the tour we enjoyed, the "changing of the guard" was not was what expected (most, if not all, felt the same). We expected to see the guard change at the Palace gates. Instead we saw the horse parade and band march down the mall. When we asked the tour guide she said it's too crowded and not part of the tour. We went to the Palace another day and witnessed the spectacular display of discipline and precision. Had we known this wasn't part of the tour we wouldn't have gone. The description is misleading, IMO.

Our guide, Ariana, was a virtual walking British history encyclopedia of knowledge. She was delightful and so very helpful. We are seniors and she made sure we didn’t miss a thing. I recommend Viator to anyone who is traveling to a new city.

We liked our morning guide, Toby, a lot and the ability to get into Westminster Abbey with a group entrance, bypassing the crowds. Same with positioning at the Changing of the Guard. We were disappointed that the Viator description for the afternoon portion of the tour included a Tower Bridge entrance and the actual tour did not.

You need to understand that this is TWO tours. one form 8:00 to 11:40 and then from 1:45 to LATE- 4:30-5:00. The first one to Westminster Abbey and " changing of the Guard"(we went on a Tuesday so there was not Guard changing) was a 4. would have been a 5 but did not talk much after Westminster. Should have taken us to take photo with the Guards (on horses). The London Tower was a 1!!, Guide was late, we had to wait 40 minutes for the boat, and tour was BAD, SKIP THE TOUR. The guide did what she wanted.

Amy_M

Guide was informative and sights were amazing! It covered many of the London highlights. Recommend the tour.

Westminster Abby was spectacular. Thames River ride was ok. Too much walking, not any elevators. Not many stories from guide.
